Very impressive work and I've never seen one of these kits previously. It's an excellent gift idea.

Sharp looking build and nice work on all your modifications.
-
Thanks Alan. Despite their popularity it's rare to see this generation of the Monte Carlo even at car shows today. Thanks Michael.

Super nice builds on all three tri-fives. -
'68 was my favorite year for the Beaumont. This red and white version was up for auction at a very wet Fall Carlisle several years ago.

It's a great look in gunmetal gray and great job on the interior detailing.
-
Thanks Harry. It's a decent kit. Just needs some extra work here and there.

Paint, decal and engine compartment work all look great as does the Light Sand interior with the contrasting arm rests. I also like to paint the mufflers gold from time to time.

Excellent work Ludwig and in a color not frequently seen. And the all black '67 looks super. Those mid 60's Birds had wonderfully appointed interiors.

Great paint and decal application. The ornate seat pattern has that great '70's vibe.

Impressive build and detailing work on the engine bay. Finish looks super smooth.

Great looking build with excellent detailing. As an admirer of green and white cars I appreciate the color combination. The GP that year had to be amongst the earliest GM cars with a Halo style vinyl roof.

Sharp looking color combination. Excellent work.

I always like seeing these mid 70's cars. Great work and color combination.

Great looking Camaro and if I may ask what paint color did you use on the wheels. I'm working on this kit for the first time and trying to decide on a color for the 5 spoke wheels.

Thank you David and Gerald.

Nice paint work and color combination. Those aftermarket wheels enhance the look of the model.

Thank you Donato and Carl.

Looks excellent. I picked up the original Monogram release of this kit about a year ago and the metallic blue plastic is similar to your model.

Thank you Eric, Chris, Larry and Michael Thanks David. I agree these aren't always done factory like and for that matter not posted all too often. Thanks David, Steve and Tom. Thanks Jeff. With the Landau roof, T-tops or two tone these could be very sharp looking cars.

Beautiful paint work and the TS-59 is a great color for that era.

The paint and foil work look excellent. Nicely detailed engine compartment.

Built from the current reissue of the 1/25 scale Class Action Monte Carlo, painted in Dupli-Color GM Light Blue Metallic and cleared with Rust-Oleum. The kit offers a landau top that covers the C-pillar but I always preferred these cars with the canopy style landau roof.. I bordered the covered section with a strip of .015x.30 styrene and misted flat white with a light coat of clear satin to create the top. The kit assembled nicely and the only real issue I encountered was a bulged drivers side fender which I remedied by running a couple strips of styrene under each fender and gluing the hood shut. I still built the motor but hung onto nonvisible parts like the air cleaner which I saved in the parts box. While I'll always prefer the two generations of the Monte Carlo that preceded these third generation G-bodies I still think these '78-'80 versions are pretty decent looking cars. IMHO anyway.

Stunning build and one of the most coveted cars on my wish list.

Super nice build and I admire the work on the work on the two tone seats.
