Len I can truthfully say none! I almost feel like I need to get one so that I too can enjoy the misery of building one😜

Finally finished my ‘49 Revell Merc today, only deviation from box stock was the addition of a Mercury FE V8. I’ll echo a lot of the past statements, this is a great kit to build.

Finally finished this build after a little builders block and a frustrating build. Overall would recommend this kit to anyone 10/10 great build, complications were sheerly my own doing as I could not leave it as an oob build. Build thread here-> Editors note, loose lake pipe was corrected after pictures were taken.

Holy moly has it been that long since I updated this? Well in a flurry of activity I solidified some stuff for the inside of the shop, I’ll let the pics do the talking. More litter and parts will find their way in as real shops do.

Dunno about paint, but I’ve started tagging them, keep the useful Information for later…Now where was the box with all the special tricks?

Funny thing is Bob I still didn’t find the part I was looking for ☹️ but I did organize more small parts sigh. Darn squirrels 🐿️

Dang stupid bench squirrels showed up again, I’m sure @TopherMcGinnis is sneaking in overnight and coaxing them in here🙄. Let me explain what happened here, I was searching through the archives for a certain part, then I found a part and said hey I remember that was going to go with this potential build and the next thing I know I’m harvesting transmissions and then I mock up another 32. I’m gonna have to rename my bench to “Snowballs”! you will notice in the first photo a gathering of smallish white boxes, those are proposed builds which I have accumulated some parts for and have a rough mockup started… those are not stillborn ideas those are just waiting for the creative juices to flow in their direction again.

Well that might not be so advantageous. Well I guess if we don’t have obstacles to overcome this would be a boring af hobby. I’m not sure but I believe @David G. coined a phrase about creating problems. You got this Jim.

I too am interested in this build! The poncho mill should be a nice addition to this.
