  1. It’s all in the fine details, looks great @David G.
  2. No it’s the old parts pack Harley
  3. Just saw that this morning! I’ll be adding it to my list for sure!
  4. Looking good @Kit Karson, have you chosen a colour scheme yet?
  5. I’ve wanted one of those kits (preferably a S, W & C) to add to my stash for some time, I’ll follow along to see how you build this one Topher.
  6. Looks great Tom, those headlights are awesome !
  7. Did someone say 32 ford? Yup I’m down for a follow.
  8. Chris I really appreciate the effort you have put into helping with my crude efforts of this design. I really like the added design on the front fender pod! I nixed the Lincoln front fenders as I felt they overpowered the fact that I’m trying to keep as much Ford design as possible, that and I personally really like the enclosed front fenders.
  9. Your scale patina is very convincing, I’m a fan of this type of building, it definitely takes a lot more work than shiny paint!
  10. It will be a bit before that happens I’m afraid Jim. The weather turned foul overnight and it’s only plus 6 Celsius today(that’s 42 froggenhalves or a cold McDouble for the land that time forgot below Canada) . A bit Too cold for the old paint shed haha.
  11. Well all I’ve managed so far this week is a shot of primer to see where we head next.
  12. Wowzers! That is incredible looking! Well done @David G.
  13. You use instructions? I always thought they were a desk liner so you don’t get paint and glue on your desk.
  14. Yes you have nailed a perfect stance Michael!
  15. That colour is killer Dennis. Your engine is really going to pop with that as the background!
  16. Have you finished yours? You looked nigh on completion before your vacay.
  17. Looks like a great start so far, I’m in to follow any build that involves a 32 ford sir.
  18. Fantastic fabrication so far, what was the source for the M/T pro sportsman’s? I have a project concept in my head and I think a set of those would fit the bill.
  19. I've heard the expression of turning a sows ear into a silk purse! well done sir
  20. Well Jim I’d say it’s a little better than mediocre, and no where near shelf of shame. id say pick one that needs a little work and haul it across the finish line. You gotta get those numbers up! A bench cleansing is always good, I’ve done those quite frequently I can’t stand working in clutter, that and my bench is dual purpose( serves as an office desk at times when I need to use my laptop( I’ve never used it in my lap yet!)). Clean it all off and take a look in some boxes you might find a build that was a challenge and a fresh look might have the new inspiration! Or hell ignore them all and start something fresh! ?
  21. On today’s episode of what can go wrong, decals! Had some free bench time and decided I would finish the details of the interior, hand painted the buttons and knobs with Tamiya LP-63 titanium silver for some nice contrast to the green of the dash! I was totally stoked on this look as my hands were steady and the paint went on very smooth. Let that dry overnight and prepped for the decals, I will say that there are many products out there to make this process easy( I don’t own any of them) I used the old way of water and patience. That was the downfall, all the decals have a large clear overage and are tiny, too tiny for these old ways and hands to trim. So that leaves me with trying to trim now that the decals are dried or remove them and try again. I’m saddened by the poor fit and this has put a damper on my mood for continuing this build today.
  22. @David G. all your hard work for that black finish almost, almost makes me want to try another black paint job! Looks great keep it going.
  23. To quote Darth Vader “Impressive”! I imagine you are in the final stages of this build, it’s been going so well. What’s next lol?
  24. Tidy work Phil, the whole build is well thought out and put together proper.
  25. I’ve always thought these were neat cars, I met a gent in Alberta that had a Toyota 4 cyl and a five speed trans from an 80’s Celica, it nice out and handled pretty darn awesome.
