  1. Turned out great! I could imagine those decals were challenging. Tamiya decals are a bit thick.
  2. Well, we have midgets as well ?
  3. I've seen the dwarf dirt track cars run out here at Barona speedway, but man... nothing like those. They are beautiful. Thanks for posting.
  4. What a great gift. Great build and the open doors look fantastic. Big fan of these Mopars.
  5. Looks good. I like the mix of metallics. Did you figure out the yellow on the nose?
  6. Found this 1/32 BF-109 pretty cheap on ebay. I also got this 1/35 rail car The BF-109 has been started (engine only) but no big deal, I'm chopping it up to do this (someday) I hope the scale difference isn't an issue, but if it is I'll see if I can find a 1/35 Border BF-109 Finally, I found this old ESCI nebelwerfer crew for a potential dio with the nebelwerfer I scored
  7. Some of those are great! Meanwhile in Peabody, MA ...
  8. Did you get the Draw decals? They are continuous film and very thin but fantastic decals. I have used them several times as he focuses on commercial aircraft. 4mula1fan - that should make a great display. I have the 1/8 Williams Bros WASP in the stash. I've seen these engine kits built up into incredible displays
  9. Turned out great and really nice photos as well. I've never seen that kit. Build more bikes!
  10. I've got the AMT rebox. Scalemates has the AMT instructions with color callouts here: https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/7/0/3/141703-55-instructions.pdf
  11. That's a big V2! Guy on another forum is thinning his stash. I'm not much of an armor guy but I've always liked the Nebelwerfer and this kit looks fantastic.
  12. Sleek looking airplane. They blew the old record out of the water! Curious about the battery tech and how the address weight. Pretty cool - thanks for posting.
  13. Nice! I've been looking for brush rigs to do Cal Fire stuff - I've done a couple planes. Do you have a build thread on this?
  14. I lived in Liverpool when I was 5 or so and my GrandDad had a cat named Jinxie - spot on exactly the same cat. Thanks for posting!
  15. Ha - way back it used to be "FREE!"
  16. I see it used by the aircraft guys pretty often. I haven't needed or wanted to do that just yet but the recommended tool Rivet-R by RB tools with Micromark pounce tool a close second.
  17. Nice job - creative. Love the fact he's an ace with 6 kills and the invasion stripes!
  18. Didn't hear about this either. Bobby just died in May of last year as well. 2021 - big loss to the racing community.
  19. Not war movies - off the wall but entertaining stories. Here's a couple quick references: The Hunt: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8244784/ Don't Look Up: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11286314/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
  20. The 35th largest airforce in the world lol From wiki on the film: The film required a large number of period aircraft. In September 1965 producers Harry Saltzman and S. Benjamin Fisz contacted former RAF Bomber Command Group Captain T.G. 'Hamish' Mahaddie to find the aircraft and arrange their use.[6] Eventually 100 aircraft were employed, called the "35th largest air force in the world".[8] With Mahaddie's help, the producers located 109 Spitfires in the UK, of which 27 were available although only 12 could be made flyable. Mahaddie negotiated use of six Hawker Hurricanes, of which three were flying. I watched 'Don't Look Up' and found it entertaining but political like 'The Hunt' - still super fun to watch.
  21. Don't have an answer but would be great to see these kits available. Some of the Italeri 1/9 bikes are around.
  22. Great progress. Maybe scan the decals and make a mask? I did that with a NASCAR kit once.
