  1. Thank You. Unfortunately I don’t know what kit the wheels came from. I bought them loose at a local model car show last year. Thought they looked good and knew I would eventually find the right car for them
  2. Thank You everyone for kind words and compliments. Greatly appreciated
  3. Thanks
  4. That is just awesome! Great job I love everything about it. Just makes want to sing ? Holiday Road, Holiday Road ?
  5. Bought the blue Dealer Promo way back before I knew they were going to rerelease them as a new kit. Thanks for looking
  6. Inspired by photos I found on the web of boats from the 50s (I think) that were made to look like the cars pulling them. As always thanks for looking
  7. Wow, what a fantastic looking Corvette.
  8. Awesome is the only word I can think of to describe this excellent build. Great Job!
  9. 77 AMT Pinto with an MPC Fiero Body Kit. Considering this is one of the most ill-fitting models I have attempted, it came out pretty well. Nothing wanted to fit correctly. Couldn’t get the hood to lay flat no matter what I did. Still enjoyed the build and already have another so I guess it didn't bother me too much. ? As always, thanks for looking.
  10. Looks great, love the color!
  11. A beautiful piece of rolling art. The creativity and vision of folks like you inspire me towards greater challenges. Thanks for sharing!
  12. That car is just plain beautiful. Love the color ?
  13. Last WIP entry for this one. Will post finished pics when I get the radiator hose in, hood on, and wheels straightened out. Thank you to everyone who looked, commented, and followed along.
  14. Finished the interior and got some paint on the body. Not sure why the body looks like an eggshell but I'm tired of fighting with it so that's the way it's going to stay. Waiting for the body to get good and dry so I can detail around the windows, etc. and put some decals on it. Ultimately hoping to produce a car that a local business owner who lives to race but is forced to work might race on the weekends at his local track using the car to promote his business so he can write his hobby off as a tax deduction!
  15. Finally got some time to work on this project. Here’s what I got so far. Painted the interior yesterday hoping I can start detailing today. As far as the body goes all that’s left is to sand, fill, and prime repeatedly…
  16. Looks beautiful great job
  17. Now that is seriously cool looking
  18. Looks fantastic great job
  19. Wow, everything about that is awesome!
  20. Many thanks to everyone who responded for the kind words and encouragement. It is much appreciated!
  21. Very Cool, great concept
  22. That's just too cool. Would look right at home parked on the beach.
  23. Looks great. Love the way it's familiar but also distinctly different. I could see a 1/1 leading to many arguments about what kind of car it is. ?
  24. Looks Great! Love the Paint.
  25. I would like to once again thank everyone on the forum who takes the time to teach and share. I have always loved 57 Chevy’s. Despite this I never attempted to build one because I knew I would not be able to get the multiple little details in the body and interior correct. However, applying techniques and knowledge I have learned from others here, I finally felt confident enough to take one on. While this one will never be a contest winner, I’m very happy with the way it came out. As always, thanks for looking.
