Hello all. I just finished up this 1969 Z/28 kit. I wanted to kind of go a “sleeper” route with this one This was a good kit, and this was as good as I could build it! I need to sharpen my skills in a few areas for sure. Any comments or tips are welcome! ****oops I forgot to put the driveshaft back in before I took the pics****

Finally got the paint on the body. My 1:1 is black, but I wanted to try out this color. Seems more pinkish than red, but I can live with it. The camera on my iPhone makes the metal flake pop out more than it does to my eye anyway. It’s not polished yet. Just painted and cleared with future.

Well. I hit a snag with this. I didn’t notice that I did have both sides of the rear end seated fully in the leaf springs and now the rear end is way crooked. I dread taking this thing apart, kind of feel like I’m going to break something. Any tips or ideas?

Ok! Got some bench time in and made some progress on the ‘69. I don’t really like the chrome rally heels so I tried to detail them out. They will probably be silver hoping to wrap this up in the next couple days
