  2. Small updates: i detailed the wheels and think they came out pretty good Did some more work on the engine, my first attempt at wiring The gauge of wire may be a little big, but it’s what I had. detailed the steering wheel

  16. I agree with Mr Jones. No clear is going to look shiny when you are "dusting" it on. You have to find the balance of "just wet enough" without running the clear.

  19. I painted the seats with testors flat paint - the same color as the rest of the interior and let dry thoroughly. Then I use kiwi brown shoe polish applied with a make up brush (cheap at dollar general), let sit for a while until it dries, and use the ame brush (after cleaning it) to polish the peices.
  20. THanks! I have found that after the tan paint dries, I use brown shoe polish with a fine make up brush to give the seats the leather look,

  23. Here is the next kit that I’m working on. 40% off at Hobby Lobby I got started on a few things. Started on the engine And the chassis The exhaust seem to sit very far from the floor pan. I may have to mod it to bring it in tighter. some of the interior as well Still have to paint the shift knob black and the firewall That’s where I’m at right now More to come.... Anyone have any any tips on how to paint the snowflake wheels gold, on the inside of the snowflake?? Any thoughts or suggestions welcome!
