  7. I can understand the frustration. The last 69 camaro I did was the same way....Ended up painting that one 3 times.
  8. Thanks again for the info. I have the lindberg Big Red Rod as well. I may try to build that over the winter. I see what you mean about te large scale kits and pricing. Wow are they expensive (seems all of my hobbies are expensive!). I also have the 1/12 67 Corvette, I got from a member here. Looking forward to that one as well.
  9. That’s a bummer for sure, but it will be better next time
  10. The black looks smooth. It will pop once you lear it!
  11. Thanks for the info! I am really only interested in building American Musclecars / Hot Rods
  12. I mask around the area to be foiled then apply the foil, making sure to burnish down very well with a qtip. Then I cut along the line with a new blade and pull the tape off. The extra foil comes off with the tape.
  13. looks good! I'm a foil noobie as well. I found if I mask areound the area first and use new blades it goes a lot better
  14. Nice job. Looks just rigt for a street car. I love it!
  15. Great Project! something specal about building a model of your 1:1. I have a few of my Camaro.
  16. Thank you for that! I am proud of what I have been able to make out of it. Would you happen to know if the other 1/16 kits in this lane are any better? I'd really like to build the '57 Chevy.
  17. Looks great.
  18. All in good time my friend!
  19. Inching towards the finish line on this one Ive decided to mount the shaker to the hood. Kinda bummed out about it, but with this kits fit and finish AND my skill set it seems an easy way out
  20. Very nice Michelle! The wood grain looks great with the body color
  21. Very nice! Looks like something Billy Gibbons would drive
