  1. That is a great custom! I found this pic... probably a photoshop? Bring it to life!
  2. The holiday is way too stressful. This year I was running around looking for what amounted to worthless trinkets just so I could fill the wifes Christmas stocking. Why? Such a hassle. We have no kids, but my wife loves Christmas. I already suggested to her that next year, we are doing a "3 & 3"... three wrapped gifts under the tree, and three items in the stocking. She agreed. Yeaaa!
  3. Here is that Mustang I mentioned...
  4. THIS is what the media calls a Plymouth Barracuda! Video @: http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=12464511
  5. Floods of water, then mud trashing property in the southwest. I have noticed on TV a few glimpses of classic cars in the muck. A 1955 or thereabout Chevy pickup in a driveway, a first series Mustang half buried. Anyone know of any others? Of course I mean no disrespect to those who lost far more important property. On a related bizarre note, a man wanted to show friends his Plymouth Barracuda, took a wrong turn in the gated community, and ended up on the Bush Compound in Texas. Secret Service was not amused. NOTE: I caught a glimpse on TV of the car, looks more like a 70’s era Mercury Cougar.
  6. I have the ERTL / ESCI issue, which may be the same tool(?) and it looks to be as advertised @ 1/24

    T bucket

That is how I would build it. Even the color is right!
  8. I believe it is real!
  9. Scale snob here! But, not between 1/24 and 1/25. Those two scales can be placed side by side as far as I am concerned. It's the small stuff... 1/32 or smaller, and large scale... 1/20 or larger, that just don't fit in with my display. Some day, I want to try the other scales, as long as I can park them away somewhere else.
  10. Wow! Harry... you made me work for this one! I just sent pm to you. Good game!
  11. K- Now that's the cat's nads!
  12. So Kewl! Gonna look great next to your Lug Bug!
  13. "Zombie Claus"! I think I now know what I want on my front lawn!!!!
  14. Can someone explain what is wrong with the front bumper?
  15. Oh, btw Darin, God knows this entire thread had not one letter of silliness before I posted.
  16. Absolutely! That was the point! They have beaten the horse to a dead, lumpy pulp. Yet, that doesn't seem to be enough for them. So they continue to beat the equine. If certain individuals cannot deal with the fact that their opinion of the kit has not been accepted by all as "The Last Word", then perhaps seeking out the assistance of a psychiatrist may be their next step? Just sayin...
  17. Daaannngggg! That IS nice! Two thumbs up, plus a big toe!
  18. How can we get our own "Mr. Bones"? I mean, those look much better than the skeletons in kits such as Rommel's Rod.
  19. KNOCK IT OFF, OR THE CAT GETS IT!

Oh WOW! Memory lane for me... I built that one as a kid! You did it good!
  21. Obviously a model to die for.
  22. Any advice on the best time to go to Tuesday Afternoon?
  23. Odds are, you are good to go right now. As previously stated, the “sniff test†is a good way to check for cured paint. As it dries, it “gasses outâ€; thus the reason you can still smell it. Tamiya (again as previously stated) is good. Regular old Magic Tape can be used, as long as there are no compound curves to wrap around. It has to stick, and still be stuck 5+ minutes later. I will use BMF right at the edge of the color separation, and use whatever to cover the rest… masking tape, tin foil, etc. Just be sure to apply the BMF last. That way, when you remove the foil, tape, and what not, it will lift up the BMF with it.
  24. Because... horsepower and size is irrelavant to this game?
