  1. Absolutely! That was the point! They have beaten the horse to a dead, lumpy pulp. Yet, that doesn't seem to be enough for them. So they continue to beat the equine. If certain individuals cannot deal with the fact that their opinion of the kit has not been accepted by all as "The Last Word", then perhaps seeking out the assistance of a psychiatrist may be their next step? Just sayin...
  2. Daaannngggg! That IS nice! Two thumbs up, plus a big toe!
  3. How can we get our own "Mr. Bones"? I mean, those look much better than the skeletons in kits such as Rommel's Rod.
  4. KNOCK IT OFF, OR THE CAT GETS IT!

    Rat vega

Oh WOW! Memory lane for me... I built that one as a kid! You did it good!
  6. Obviously a model to die for.
  7. Any advice on the best time to go to Tuesday Afternoon?
  8. Odds are, you are good to go right now. As previously stated, the “sniff test†is a good way to check for cured paint. As it dries, it “gasses outâ€; thus the reason you can still smell it. Tamiya (again as previously stated) is good. Regular old Magic Tape can be used, as long as there are no compound curves to wrap around. It has to stick, and still be stuck 5+ minutes later. I will use BMF right at the edge of the color separation, and use whatever to cover the rest… masking tape, tin foil, etc. Just be sure to apply the BMF last. That way, when you remove the foil, tape, and what not, it will lift up the BMF with it.
  9. Because... horsepower and size is irrelavant to this game?
  10. Virgil, I have 16 pages, listed alphabetically. Including "Signs". http://public.fotki.com/JCole/logos_signs__euro_plates/
  11. Am I the only one who thinks something here is missing? Look in the paper- what paper? For what store? I thought Stevens was a wholesaler? Tuesday Morning? "komm-yuun-eh-kay-shun"
  12. At a hobby shop... once they finally get them in stock. And I bet the Christmas decorations will be packed away for another year before that happens!
  13. So here we are... now on page 8 of this subject. I read the first page (or two?) when new, now I come to page 8 directly, without reading those pages in between, and lo and behold... problems. I will go back to revue the posts. But as it stands now, from what I have seen, I still think this kit is gonna rock the adult car modeler hobby! And for that, I want to thank Moebius and all those involved in bringing this kit to us. I for one will be anxiously awaiting this kit!

    VW Lug Bug

What a cool old kit! Great job!
  15. How cool is that?! Great truck! Great dio base!
  16. Really looks nice! Looks stealthy, in almost a military way. One suggestion... Google up some pics of the engine bay... some of that flat black should be assorted colors... washer bottle*, etc. Thanks for showing. *or am I thinking of an overflow bottle?

    Das Bug

    Das nice!
  18. What's up with the dorsal fin? In spite of it, I still like it.
  19. Ohhh.... Jonny's buying a few of these! There is a blue one a few towns over. Want a replica!
  20. WOW! Nice build! You went just far enough without going overboard! 10 points!
  21. I voted "REAL". What prize do I win?
  22. Boy, that looks great! You did it justice!
  23. Well as long as we keep out the usual factors such as “will it sell?â€, then I would go with any of the early to mid sixtees Corvair trucks: Greenbriar window van: Corvan panel van: Rampside pickup: The Loadside is the same as the Rampside, without the ramp.
  24. It sucks getting old, doesn't it?! Glad to hear you have the surgery behind you.
