  1. I do not have Photobucket. Let’s see if I can post one of your pics, and better still, will it stay? I notice that I do not even need to open the photo before copying… I just run the cursor over the thumbnail size pic, and that in turn opens four options. I will try the one that says “IMG Codeâ€: Well, it works… but it didn’t resize down to a “board friendly†size. Maybe someone here that is familiar with PBucket can chime in to help? Consider going with Fotki. The premium package is not free, but certainly affordable. Unlike PB (afaik), Fotki Premium has NO pop-up ads, easy to use, and all pics are re-sized. Check out the write-up in Wikipedia.
  2. The day I need to "dress for success" just to shop for model supplies, that's the day I shop on-line. Oh wait... I already do!
  3. I just watched a Mopar/SEMA video, where the Mopar rep was showing a FIAT 500 edition. I understand that Chrysler and FIAT are partnered now, but I guess I was assuming that the 500 would be re-badged as a Mopar brand. The video shows the 500 still wearing a FIAT badge on the nose. What's up with that? Will they keep the FIAT name alive here in the North American market?
  4. Nice! But the thumb is out of scale.
  5. Speechless! I am stunned! Those fenders... NO imperfections under that Alclad! The engine is killer. Everything about this... just... stunning!
  6. Last month, Sandy and I celebrated 25 years of marriage
  7. I use this one, and it is free: http://www.picresize.com/
  8. Verdadero. ¿sí?
  9. And he couldn't do that without a ladder?
  10. BTW, the side mounted ladder.... why?
  11. I like it! If ya have to ask why they made it, then maybe you would never understand?
  12. Meantime, hit up the local "CVS" or "Walgreens" for sanding sticks for pennies.
  13. Hey Kevin! That is good news indeed! It's always nice having something positive on the horizon, isn't it?!
  14. I transport an 11 year old boy with autism, and he loves cars and models. The special needs school buys plastic snap kits and also a metal body pre-paint kit with plastic parts. He needs help to build them; he will “paint†them with colored markers or paint pens. No spray painting. These build sessions are for 45 minutes, I guess if they were any longer, they may lose his interest. The model looks… rough, that’s to be expected. The important thing is, he loves it! He really gets pumped when he gets to build a model. Sometimes, for variety, they build wooden animal models. They look like a thin balsa sheet that has been die-cut, I think they just pop out each part and attach tab into slot, and there isn’t too many pieces. It’s all good either way. Go for it.
  15. I looked at the box cover (not real close admittedly), then I did some Google search. What I found: Those taillights are T-bucket cowl lamps with '50 Olds taillight lenses
  16. Yes, thank you for posting. I hope you don't mind, I saved the pics mainly to remind myself to go check them out. I would be interested in the modifications you did. I assume the typical eyelet in the top of the tank has already been removed? I found they can be easily removed with a small clamp or needle nose pliers. Anyone who builds police or emergency vehicles could benefit from these.
  17. From the 'FYI' dept... this years Hallmark Harley ornament is... Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Debut Special Edition 2009 Tri Glide Ultra Classic The first time they have done a trike in this series... The Hallmark series is 1/24 scale. Their weakness has been tires with no treads, and painted lights. Past motorcycles have been about $14.95 so I expect this one may be a bit more.
  18. Yeah Dale, your 2D is a knockout!
  19. What exactly are you looking for? The link takes me me to "Path not found" page. Even when I click on the "redirected" link, it takes me to the Fotki front page showing all the albums. Find the pic you need, and take the url from that. Hope this helps.
  20. It appears that Moebius did their test shots in clear frosted plastic, making them tough to get a good photo of. Hope you have better luck, and thank you for offering.
  21. Is this the kit? Mike, that is one sweet engine build!
  22. I doubt it's up in this part of the country Charlie... it would never make it past the potholes and speed bumps! Actually, I could never understand why thieves steal things that are so unique and easy to spot in public? Let's hope the truck was fully insured.
  23. Ahh! Did you make Bill our "roving reporter"? Did you give him a fedora with a "PRESS" card tucked in the headband?
  24. ...for all-new tooling. There is apparently some reissues. The list on the other site sounds vague. Hope someone gets a factual list and maybe some pics!
  25. Oh yeah! You can build that! You can go with a slightly more cut-down windscreen than factory! Factory Speedster: Maybe a 550 Spyder windscreen? Or maybe a hard tonneau single seater?
