  1. THANK YOU! That's all I want to say on that!
  2. I think this may just be the Tip of The Month!
  3. Pick a card, any card…
  4. Here is what MV Lenses look like. They have many diff. sizes, and can be found in the model railroad section of a well stocked hobby shop. Search on-line for sizes available.
  5. Sad to see more aftermarket disappearing from the hobby. The hobby, like us, are mortals.
  6. Yeah! My dad had a '63 Impala more door, I'm sure there are many others to cast 'em up.

  8. Was Mattias a chef before taking up driving?
  9. I sure hope someone can tell me what the last photo is of... I have had that pic for a long time. I tried hunting around looking for that grille with no luck.
  10. I have several pics in my photo album, I don't know what they are. Since I caption most of the pics I have, your help will be greatly appreciated. #1: #2: #3: #4: #5: #6: #7:
  11. That is kewl! The road courses are the only Nascar racing that I care for, which is apparently the opposite of the majority of Nascar fans. Turn left... AND right!
  12. Classic Plastic (and I believe other contests as well) have a "Shelf" class that will work for that. Even the "Misc." class is OK.
  13. "WARNING: Again, no swearing, attempting to swear, etc."
  14. What was their styling inspiration? A brick?
  15. WoW! What a great save of an amazing find! Now why can't I hit a yard sale like that?!
  16. Jim, Is that a Supra, or an Eclipse? Sorry... I don't speak Japanese I also have filler in that "bottomless" tube. What a stupid shape for a container! Diff to stand it up. I use a big plastic cup to stand it... keeps any potential separation away from the cap. Good job on the chin spoiler addition!
  17. Hairspray! As a model building tool or supply? Who knew?! But I would say the results speak for themselves! What a convincing finish!
  18. I am also saddened for your loss. As you move forward in this process, may you and your wife find peace and comfort from friends and family.
  19. I would think that the easiest way for the manufacturers to go about this, is to let model clubs (who already know a thing or two about how to set up a contest) do the show, and they in turn will sponsor them. This, in turn with a good healthy dose of Harry's "much to gain, little to lose" mantra, may be just the ticket. Also, if anyone thinks there is a perfect formula for promotion in the 21st century, well I doubt it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
  20. Lee- RWD Cadillac Flagship Gets Go-Ahead GM CEO Ed Whitacre's directed Cadillac to develop a RWD flagship model positioned above the upcoming Cadillac XTS according to Car&Driver. It's mostly speculation at this point, but for now dream sweetly of the Cadillac Sixteen. [Car&Driver] http://jalopnik.com/5561314/rwd-cadillac-flagship-gets-go+ahead
  21. CAL- Thank you! Much appreciated. I hope to finish the updates in the morning.
  22. NO! LoL! I'm sort of like a farmer... I harvest what I need!
  23. I missed the race, but tuned in just in time for the podium. The results had a familiar ring to it. Check out my 2010 LeMans album. http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11-race-cars--trucks/24-hours-of-lemans-2010/ Note on page 2, I have several labeled "What make?" Can you help me label them by using the photo number, or car # to call them out? Thanks.
  24. Harry, maybe because all the employees that remember, or were even involved in those endeavors were laid off, let go, or moved on? Maybe they need a history lesson.
  25. WoW! Passions are strong on this subject! I would say that the Charger name doesn't belong on a two-door car, yet... it has been pointed out why it was done. It's marketing. What's done is done. The more-door Charger does sell, second generation (oops! I mean "restyle!") is on the way. Used to be a two-door, now it's a four door. Not the first time that has happened... just ask any fan of the Ford Thunderbird nameplate. I think a bigger question would be, "Will the new Chrysler-Fiat survive?" Now, what was this topic thread about?
