  1. Someone just e-mailed me, said that Tom Geiger announced the NNL East "Internet Theme" award this year will be the Revell '32 Ford 5-window, and the '32 Ford sedan. I also heard from another source that the new 5-window is "out of the pipeline" as it is a Special Issue. That would mean that stores won't be able to get more.

Nice job Joe. If that's your first in a decade, you're going to build some nice stuff!
  3. I think a nearby Pizzaria offers bugs as a topping. Not intentionally, of course.
  4. Sorry about the pic! Lesson learned.
  5. So, who who is offering the best automotive type calendar this year? That means in all categories... Hot rod, rat rod, customs, muscle cars, vintage trucks, etc.
  6. I plan on using med tape next time I do a headliner. I did use masking tape before, That is before I painted it. I think I could do better, but I wasn't convinced I (or anyone else) was going to check out my headliner. Maybe I should have trimmed it better?
  7. While the Lindberg '40 Ford is indeed a pig in comparison to other versions out there, it IS quite buildable with a little effort. Check out my Fotki page and the captions for most photos (#30 to #77) @: My link
  8. Boy, does that look... French
  9. Mike- that has to be the best collection I have ever seen of photos of Modelhaus products! That is worth bookmarking.
  10. I think... it's real. Final answer. The window felts on the sides of the roof... door lock rods... perfect shadows around the wing vents. Time will tell
  11. Nice job! I wish it was mine! I built the coupe, someday I'll try the sedan
  12. I love this! When I saw this, I saw… something French! Has a Citroen look, or maybe, this Peugeot 4002 Concept: Or perhaps this Renault Laguna Concept: You keep up the good work!
  13. "Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing"
  14. Hmmm... that Valspar Suede looks interesting. I may have to buy a can to add to my other texture paints. Thanks for the headsup!
  15. Seat belts- reference:
  16. I always felt that ribbon looks too "grainy" for 1/25 scale, but that's just me. I prefer masking tape (old fashioned tan stuff). Stick a piece down to your cutting mat, use a metal rule and a #11 blade to trim to width. Make sure it fits through the slot on a photo-etched buckle. Just paint to match. I bet you could even use a Sharpie instead of paint. Then a drop of super glue to attach.
  17. Which kit do you think about the most when you aren't at the workbench?
  18. Sounds like you don't want to build a replica, but rather use artistic license. Good plan. You can go with whatever wheels you want, etc. I like ground effects, but in this case, the way the sides and rear flare out, looks not so good. Maybe if it was more vertical, as a wrap-around rib, would enable the chin spoiler to carry the design to the sides and rear. You really cannot go wrong here!
  19. Absolutely! My one reason to stay up to midnight EST! Travis is NUTS! And Scoobys do fly!
  20. REAL. But, if it's a model, I tip my hat to the builder.
  21. This Lambo rocks! It is unique! Two thumbs up! Check on some reference pics before final assembly, as I think those are directional wheels, they may need to be reversed
  22. Real sharp collection, Krishna!
  23. It's a Cheetos car... it's either baked, or fried! No matter, it's good!
  24. Here is a link to my Sox & Martin page. I do not have the pics you seek, but something is better than nothing. http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11_mopar-1/11_mopar__sox__martin/
  25. Skins... *Pfffft!* Why can't they just call it what it is? Your background colors is on the bottom left! I agree with the mob! Comfy is earthy... but then again, it's also the only one I tried Oh, and the text menu box decided to move to the top of the reply box at some point today! Life just keeps getting better!
