  1. Like asking.... Clothing. What purpose does it serve? Don't know.... but I'm real glad most people have it!
  2. What purpose does an avatar serve? That's like asking what purpose does our name serve! It helps ID you, for us. It is in addition to your name; not 100% neccessary, just helpful.
  3. All it really needs is a mast and a sail!
  4. Someone needs to start a separate web page on this. It's both sad, and legendary.
  5. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=59113
  6. Finding out what it is, is one thing. Finding out the year, well, that is something else all together!
  7. What is your eBay strategy? Avoid it!
  8. What Danno said. Perhaps time to print on the cover "THIS MONTH, 2012"
  9. This is the kind of creativity that makes scoping out this place all worthwhile! Sooo many styling +'s in the Monkee goat!
  10. I think that's similar to how I want to build mine. Thanks for the inspiration!
  11. Sounds as though you are judging more "Body color vs. chrome" rather than "silver paint vs. BMF"? Body colored trim is still popular, although I think it really took off during the 90's. Like Harry said, that is your call. As for silver vs. chrome foil, I feel the the former looks toy like, the latter looks like an adult model build... if done well.
  12. That looks great, Steve. Do like!
  13. I have to agree that everything (well, most everything) is on Google. As an alternative, how about the kit manufacturers use their own web sites to have an 'Updates' section, where any questions on the kit or the instructions could be posted.
  14. Then, make a race car out of it! BTW, I assume you may have one too many "0"s in the car name. You mean to say "Chrysler 300".
  15. I think I have narrowed it down... It's either real, or a model. I know... I am brilliant.
  16. That is awesome! What did the front half originate from?
  17. Awesome Ferrari! Looks killer!
  18. Die-casts purchased because "We'll never see it in plastic"... only to later own it in plastic. The '55 Chrysler 300 by Motor Max comes to mind.
  19. Moebius has already become my favorite model kit producer. I will buy the convertible, even tho I haven't finished the hardtop. Do I see two sets of wheels on that chrome tree?
