  1. I have about 5 or 6 of them. Only use them for painting. Work great for that purpose. I ditched the mag glass.
  2. Glass! They always appear to be a scale 4" thick. Not to mention that most automotive glass has some grade of tint to it, not that easy to do for some of us. In the future, I hope to mark that 4" edge with a black Sharpie. Even older cars without that black border appear to have "shadow" around where the glass meets the trim.
  3. From earlier today: "Scale Finishes out of business for awhile" http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=59125
  4. Joe, the limo makes sense! A giant rolling billboard! Doubles as daily transportation, saves money in the long run!
  5. Tis' Noble to stive for Modhood... But alas, It is a venture for the foolhearty! And worse off, lads.... NO DISCOUNT COUPONS!
  6. GOT WOOD? Yeah, that's got wood!
  7. Is that "GoodYear" lettering I see on the tires?
  8. Not current. Looks to be a reissue of the 90's kit.
  9. YouTube isn't practical as the audio will interfere with everyone else in the house. Not for everyone perhaps, I know it would be here. Could wear earbuds, but... I prefer pics.
  10. Ford GT, GT40 album on Fotki; in alphabetical order... http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11_fomoco/11_ford_gt_gt40__gt90/
  11. Archive? Well I have some Fotki albums of both in-progress, and completed models. Plus, I use MS Excel to keep an inventory of my purchases.
  12. Our other claim... "Jumanji". They spent several days filming in and around the area. IIRC, about 7 minutes of it made it in the film. The Chevy was there, the crush was done via hydraulics, I believe. Elephant? All cgi. All that remains of the movie, is this "vintage" wall sign. Lot of ppl got to meet Robin Williams, wish I had.
  13. One of our city's biggest annual attractions... the Keene Pumpkin Fest. We had the Guiness World Record for # of lit pumpkins for many years. I have my own photos, but not as good as these
  14. Really fine build!

Nice car, what I can see of it. How about more pics? I guess it's been ID'd as a Cortina, but you really should have mentioned what it was. Good start!
  16. Check out Slixx. Someone will offer a link, otherwise just Google 'em.
  17. Yeah, and your point is? Wasn't the sub frame designed for quick unbolt and drop for ease of access? If I want to pan the Fiero, there is other reasons besides that. Like, the engine will convert to a unique BBQ pit... weather you want it to, or not.
  18. Model. A 1/8 scale model, I suspect.
  19. When GB III was being floated around at least... what? A year ago? This was photographed in NYC:

TIRED? Tired of you posting? Naw, I don't think that will be a concern! You just keep posting stuff like that!
  21. Stunning! Clean build, awesome color!
  22. This is great! Almost anything is workable with the right attitude! Keep on it!
  23. Satco was alive in the 90's, iirc. Sadly, no longer in business afaik. That Pathfinder had nothing to do with any promo or Nissan dealerships.
