  1. That looks great, Steve. Do like!
  2. I have to agree that everything (well, most everything) is on Google. As an alternative, how about the kit manufacturers use their own web sites to have an 'Updates' section, where any questions on the kit or the instructions could be posted.
  3. Then, make a race car out of it! BTW, I assume you may have one too many "0"s in the car name. You mean to say "Chrysler 300".
  4. I think I have narrowed it down... It's either real, or a model. I know... I am brilliant.
  5. That is awesome! What did the front half originate from?
  6. Awesome Ferrari! Looks killer!
  7. Die-casts purchased because "We'll never see it in plastic"... only to later own it in plastic. The '55 Chrysler 300 by Motor Max comes to mind.
  8. Moebius has already become my favorite model kit producer. I will buy the convertible, even tho I haven't finished the hardtop. Do I see two sets of wheels on that chrome tree?
  9. I have about 5 or 6 of them. Only use them for painting. Work great for that purpose. I ditched the mag glass.
  10. Glass! They always appear to be a scale 4" thick. Not to mention that most automotive glass has some grade of tint to it, not that easy to do for some of us. In the future, I hope to mark that 4" edge with a black Sharpie. Even older cars without that black border appear to have "shadow" around where the glass meets the trim.
  11. From earlier today: "Scale Finishes out of business for awhile" http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=59125
  12. Joe, the limo makes sense! A giant rolling billboard! Doubles as daily transportation, saves money in the long run!
  13. Tis' Noble to stive for Modhood... But alas, It is a venture for the foolhearty! And worse off, lads.... NO DISCOUNT COUPONS!
  14. GOT WOOD? Yeah, that's got wood!
  15. Is that "GoodYear" lettering I see on the tires?
  16. Not current. Looks to be a reissue of the 90's kit.
  17. YouTube isn't practical as the audio will interfere with everyone else in the house. Not for everyone perhaps, I know it would be here. Could wear earbuds, but... I prefer pics.
  18. Ford GT, GT40 album on Fotki; in alphabetical order... http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11_fomoco/11_ford_gt_gt40__gt90/
  19. Archive? Well I have some Fotki albums of both in-progress, and completed models. Plus, I use MS Excel to keep an inventory of my purchases.
  20. Our other claim... "Jumanji". They spent several days filming in and around the area. IIRC, about 7 minutes of it made it in the film. The Chevy was there, the crush was done via hydraulics, I believe. Elephant? All cgi. All that remains of the movie, is this "vintage" wall sign. Lot of ppl got to meet Robin Williams, wish I had.
  21. One of our city's biggest annual attractions... the Keene Pumpkin Fest. We had the Guiness World Record for # of lit pumpkins for many years. I have my own photos, but not as good as these
  22. Really fine build!
