  1. Hey, man! You did a great job on that! Went your own way with color choice! Sharp!
  2. So good, that I suspect it would fare very well in any model contest today!
  3. Nice lookin' Impala!
  4. Then change it. You have an EDIT feature. If you use that talk on a message board, not much good will come from it. Guaranteed.
  5. How cool is that?! Awesome Pace Car!
  6. There will always be a market for the uber rich, and a luxury car for them to be carted around in. Me'es thinks it is easy to scoff at such electronics from our little abodes, but... if it was your tush being chauffeured in that car, twinkling lights and all, I would bet the farm it would be an impressive experience. Because it is not just one part of the ride that would impress, but rather the sum of the entire experience.
  7. Little known fact... at the time CHiPS was on TV, all cars on the road in California had ramps built into their sides, so any collision would result in a spectacular arial shot and rollover. Oddly, only the cars that were struck had big, obvious roll bars in the rear seat area. Then the motorcycle cops would arrive, and just stand there with a big toothy grin for no apparent reason.
  8. You mean there's a difference?
  9. Correct you are, Doc! Some amazing talent there. And in the Pro Mod department, I must tip the hat to Del Paone. So much talent. Thank you all for sharing.
  10. Like Doc says, the creations of Bill Stillwagon are just outstanding! And he has to be one of the nicest people you will ever meet! The gold Bugatti Pickup shown of his is my favorite. Also, Mike, how do you get your Fotki photos to show at that size? Can you tell me what size setting you have? Thanks for all the pics!
  11. I have always liked the coupes, the undesirable sibling to the fastback. .
  12. There was even a model kit of it, although I think my box art looks diff than this-
  13. My favorite: the chase of the white Countach on an episode of Miami Vice. Clearly visible is two diff cars were used; a 5000 S with standard taillights, and a 5000 Quattrovalvole with the narrow taillights.
  14. That's better than my stuff!
  15. About the engine color, afaik the 1954 model year the factory switched engine color from gold to red. It may be a later model engine. Although I would guess by the overall "restored" look of this car that they sprayed the block & head in red, for whatever reason. Also wondering if that body and interior color could possibly be stock?
  16. Hey man! That's gonna be really cool, man! Well man, I'll tell ya how we can get a new plastic kit of this, man! All someone has to do is convince a diecast maker to do one! Then I'll buy it "Because we'll never see this again in plastic, man!" Just like I did with the diecast '55 Chrysler 300. Then those kool kats at Moebius issue the Chrysler in plastic! Man, now I'm stuck with a diecast! That's not groovy, man!
  17. Beautiful GT40. That is a vivid red!
  18. Unless... the Ebay ad.... is part of the joke? !
  19. I enjoy scratchbuilding. sometimes it works, sometimes not.
  20. If it made it that far without self-immolation! Maybe ask the fire dep't to follow you around... at least to AutoZone.
  21. Try my Fotki, I may have what you seek: http://public.fotki.com/JCole/11-porsche/956-962/page2.html
