  1. It's still there on my Fotki! Do you have the free version? I go w/ Premium (paid) account. Worth having either that or Photobucket. Think of all the things it can be used for besides models. What's one common thing people who survive disaster miss the most? Their irreplaceable photos. If they are scanned and loaded in a photo host program, they are safe from tornado, fire, etc.
  2. Really? No pics? Why? Can't find film for the digital camera?
  3. Suttle mods! You are doing great stuff there Darin!
  4. Our local donut shop also sells bagels. Very yummy.
  5. I don't recall the exact year Caddy, but this presidential limo is (was) available in 1/24 by Yat Ming
  6. I had a seventy-something Vega Notchback, similar to this one. It never rusted, because it was painted brown I tried to do some four wheelin' in it, stuffed the manual trans case into a rock. Drove it home in 2nd gear. On second thought, it did rust. The rear shocks came up through the trunk. At least one repair place refused to fix it.
  7. By far the best '48 FeRD I have seen! Great color!
  8. That is one awesome roadster pickup! It has "The Look"!
  9. Choose the right type of clear plastic? I made a clear roof insert cut from a plastic OJ bottle. First, on two rounded corners there was a slight delamination effect, very small, but still not right. Also, when I tried to use NOVUS 3 to clean up minor scratches, it made it worse. I switched to a 3-part polishing stick, starting w/ middle grit, again, made it worse. The juice bottle plastic is more flexible than model kit clear windows. Any ideas?
  10. I suggest keeping it as is, but on the shelf. A constant reminder of what can happen when a model is grabbed quickly.
  11. Scott- these two rods... incredible! Can you please ID both for me? The purple one looks like a '33 Willys grille?
  12. Hey! I want in on this! I have the engine complete. Did the lowering on all suspension bits. Fabbed the front for posable wheels. Shortened the wheelbase so the rear tires (should) line up with the rear skirts. Still have to pick a color for the topside, chassis all set. I'll post progress pics soon. Oh, on part #29... "trap the exhaust and driveshaft in between frame and crossmember part #29". Well, you can if you want just glue that small crossmember to the floorpan. It has locating pins for that. That way you don't have the d-shaft & exhaust flapping all over the place as you line it all up and add glue. Just set down the two parts on top of floor & crossmember, and glue frame to floor. I have pics of that also.
  13. I remember about ten years ago or so, someone from Canada's Globe25 club came down to our Classic Plastic Show which was in Salem, NH that year. They did the Bonnie & Clyde death car. I will see if I can find the pics.
  14. Yeah, that IS sharp! My new best friend had an '09 SRT8 in TorRed. That's why they were my best friend! And I told them that!
  15. I have been watching the build process either here... or over there. REAL fine work, sir!
  16. Well, if scale accuracy isn't top concern, you can buy what I suspect was dollhouse scale items. If I was to do this again, I would make my own wood boxes, and make the fruit from FIMO clay.
  17. REAL sharp job! I think that's the first time I have seen hanging weatherstrip on a model!
  18. Make sure the cursor is not over the text choices as you type.
  19. Not so much for the Tatra, but sign me up for the rest! Even the Queen Mum's ride would be nice!
  20. I guess the one I am the most proud of would be my Edsel / MIR spoof
  21. It's restorations like this that make me glad to be a part of this board! Real sharp job!
  22. I'm guessing it's real. Or.. a model. Or I'll just wait, and see what everyone else says.
  23. Don't sell yourself short! That looks great!
  24. Oh, I think Larry would approve! That is so clean and sweet!
