  1. Yes, still waiting to hear of any news:
  2. Missed this post the first time around. That is one impressive build! Very creative!
  3. I thought you had found more info on this one in my album, but the GMC unit is different.
  4. Brandon will love it! That is great!
  5. Between the build, and the photos, that... is one HOME RUN, Hit-it-out-of-the-park Charger! Absolutely stunning! Thanks for posting that!
  6. Romell- glad you are going to stay and enjoy.
  7. DON'T KNOW! That was easy.
  8. Good point. Has MCG just stopped creating new photoetch?
  9. Yeah, I do like that!
  10. That's Kustom!
  11. THANK YOU to Robert Downie, and Billy Kingsley, for your help answering this question, all without drama. Facebook is my friend.
  12. Um, that response is rather arrogant, yeah. To imply I am in a "panic mood" (shouldn't that read "panic mode?") is rediculous. If the mouse scroll button has something to do with this, perhaps you could explain how that works. As stated by others, it sounds like a browser issue, not a "mouse scroll & panic" issue. If you can't say anything nice...
  13. I read on another forum a claim that Fotki has changed their uploader... whatever that means. It appears to now be only Java compliant. I think I can upload... one photo at a time. That will take forever, I often upload 30 to 90+ photos at a time.
  14. I cannot upload photos from my hard drive to Fotki. I used to select an entire batch at once... now I cannot get anything to load. Any advice?
  15. Can't you just make one? First get the size & shape in cardboard, then transfer to plastic. To get a 3 dimensional thickness, use bondo or epoxy putty. For texture, delaminate a Kleenex, coat the part w/ liquid cement, and lay the tissue down on it, working it down. Wire or pinheads could represent the snaps. An alternative of the above, is to use it as a mold, and vacuform copies.
  16. Awsome T, Dave! It took a while to get to the table, but worth it.
  17. Actually, it looks like it is posed in the open position.
  18. Actually, it's about models viewed on computers. No exclusive to one or the other here.
  19. I would have gone with 5-minute epoxy. If you get some where it shouldn't be, wait for partial cure, then peel it up with a toothpick. As far as not having any hobby shop nearby, you must have a hardware store? Most adhesives I buy are at the hardware store. These are adult model cars you are building, not toys. Time to step up and stock up.
  20. A screen shot of what I usually see as the typical Photobucket pic: A missing photo. At least Fotki, I have to go to my Fotki album to find several missing photos (and I do!) In other words, Photobucket disappears here, Fotki disappears in my albums. Either way...
  21. As Dave stated, lacquer almost always requires a clearcoat. If you are getting a milky haze in it, that may be a condition known as "blushing", caused by humidity. Back in the old days when dinosaurs roamed the earth and I worked in autobody, we would wait for the paint to dry, than buff out the haze. If not successful, a repaint was in order. But the clearcoat part... buy a compatible clear.
  22. Love it low, unchopped, and wide meats! Tired of tall, skinny tires w/ offroad stance.
  23. Christian- Here is that machine kit, built. I thought I was trading kit for kit, what I got was a built. All in all, didn't really matter to me.
