  1. But... Craig bought a resin Tucker! So there will be a plastic kit.
  2. "Industrial, but classic". Maybe medium duty truck tires? These are from Modelhaus.
  3. If you cut & splice frame sections together, the more surface contact you have, the stronger the connection. Perhaps a "stepped" cut?
  4. The truck looks awesome! Just the right satin sheen, and clear photography. As for graphics, consider just enough for the look, without the obvious white star. maybe just some serial numbers? Or, nothing at all. Looks great as is!
  5. If you use a photo host site such as Fotki, it will automatically resize for you, and you will always have an easy to access photo album(s). Nice Ferd, btw! (Ford, Ferd, Ord, whateer!)
  6. I stopped at my LHS early in the week, nothing in stock. He phoned in the order for me while I was there, the supplier will strap a few to the shell of their UPS turtle... I may have one by the eighteenth.
  7. That body makes me think "Dodge Neon". Like to know what it was, maybe a few more pics?

    1 Fast Caddy

Oh, that looks good! So regret not buying one when I had a chance!
  9. I plan on painting my model in a Dupli-Color red metallic. I just wet-sanded the primer, it may get another coat or two of primer to deal with some imperfections, then in the dehydrator. I am wondering if a base coat of silver might be a good idea, even though the plastic is white? Would the silver help the red met as far as depth, and… ??? Is there any advantage to it?
  10. Ah ha! Now I see where you're coming from. But at a current Fotki collection of 87,841 photos, that would be a lot more work than I already have invested in my albums.
  11. I'm guessing right before the 2014 NNL East!
  12. It is kind of a barking dog, isn't it? If you want to section, me'es thinks a wedge or pie cut should be removed, more out of the front than the back. I also remember those headlights as "controversial", interesting how you will do this one up.
  13. Want to do a head-scratcher on someone? Next time you get a newspaper in Chinese or Japanese, cut out sections of text, and staple them together like a letter. Send it to someone you know without a return address. Take it from me, it will keep them wondering.
  14. Is that... THE Matchbox? Maker of itty-bitty cars I used to collect from across the pond?
  15. Is this like the ol' "We lost our lease"? "The last time, we found it under the TV" I am glad they are staying in business. Also think that is one heck of a PR move!
  16. That is awesome stuff, Lyle. Did you brush or spray the wheels? I think leaving some chrome really makes the deal!
  17. Way nice build, Scott. It's not often a build gets a second chance!
  18. Rob, this is great! I also missed this the first time around. Love the creativity!
  19. I would be interested to know more about that (but not interested enough to research it! ) After... how many years now of Prius production(?), if that is an issue, it should be a known issue, I would think.
  20. Fotki is not resizing the photos, afaik. Only the view size is being altered. Although I don't understand why you are concerned about the "original". The photo is uploaded to a photo host site. The subscriber can control what size appears.
  21. To change photo size, click "Go to" Then scroll down to "My account", and click it. On the right side of the page that appears, note your current photo size. Click "Change" @ right. Find "Photo view size". Click arrow box to the right. A list of choices will appear (not shown). I suggest 800 x 800. This will make your pics appear on the larger size, but not so big that you cannot see from one edge to the other. For those with smaller monitors or notebooks, this could be a real advantage.
