Thanks Buddy. I think next I need to get the body prep work done and throw some primer on it.

I worked on the radiator and header install this morning. I'm a happy camper on how the headers turned out. They still hang a little low even after the mod due to the Massive size of the Ardun heads.

Yup....another fine looking Ford pickup Chuck. Those wheels & tires really pop and that's a lot of muscle setting in the engine bay. I'm diggin it. -

That really looks the part there Chuck. Great weathering job. Looks like it's ready for duty. -
That yellow really catches your eye right off the bat and really shows off those red line tires. The engine looks just as good and shows well setting in the business end. Nicely done Ken.

That's a really sharp looking 32 Ford Greg. That green and black looks really nice. Love these old Fords.
-
Nice job there Stuart. Love the color combo. Those wheels & tires make the car.
-
Super sharp lookling Caddy Larry. Very nicely detailed and that body color looks so deep.

Welcome to the forum Nathan. Nice story about your Great Uncle Lauri's 1965 Ford Thunderbird Landau. Great looking bike.

Thanks. This is always the problem when using aftermarket parts. They just don't jive with the kit parts.
-
Well...seems like one problem after another. I had to end up using the kit headers which look better anyway but they were to long and would drag the pavement. I had to cut about 1/4" off each.

Thanks Kyle.

I now have a rolling chassis and I had to add a riser to the engine to get the bug catcher in the proper location through the hood. I'm thinking about a moon tank and battery in the trunk. Update: Just found these small NOS bottles from the Iceman that may look pretty kewl in the trunk as well.
-
Thanks. Yeah, trim looks good.
-
Yeah, I was supprised that the doors fit as good as they did . I'm still working with the kit header trying to make them work.
-
I now have the door hinges in place and I'm satisfied with how the doors fit. The kit supplied kick plates are chrome and they just don't seem to fill up the area so I found some 1.5mm half round stock that fills up the slot and doesn't look to bad. I'm looking at the instructions and the kit comes with chrome body trim, door trim, and hood trim but doing a search online of the 41 Willy's and don't think I've seen anyone use them??? I also I think I have the drive train in place and looking good.
