  2. Now that's purdy. Those two colors go together nicely. We'll done.
  3. Well heck fire...guess I didn't look very good. David, you must have an eye like and eagle and a nose like a beagle
  4. Thanks James. Initially I couldn't get into this build and put in on the back of the bench. Since I drug it back out It's starting to really get my attention.
  5. I'm diggin that color James. Looking good.
  6. I got a little bench time this morning so I got the engine parts all painted, chassis & tires have been painted as well. I have the body prepped but I didn't see much at all to clean up so I know I much have missed something. I still need to cut the hole in the hood but I'm now have to wait til the engine parts a cured out. I forgot to do this before hand.
  7. Very kewl. I remember watching a video years ago of the Army dropping those and the assembly. The Jeepney's in Southeast Asia and elsewhere are probably some of what the Army dropped back in the day.
  8. That's looking killer Buddy. Love the Pro Street look.
  9. Thanks Jim. Wouldn't look good without that BIG ole blown 429 up front.
  10. Thanks man. I do appreciate it. I think I've got that Big ole blown 429 shoehorned in there.
  11. Thanks man.

  17. Oh yeah. Been setting here thinking about colors.
  18. Thanks. Yup, the 429 looks right at home in the business end.
  19. Much obliged Gary.
  20. I'm hoping so. I'm putting my best foot forward ? Thanks man.
  21. I started this one a while back and stopped on the build. Just couldn't get motivated on it but it's back up on the bench with a second chance. The business end is getting a Blown Ford 429 engine from the Iceman. I'm using the chassis from the AMT 66 Nova Pro Street kit. I had to modify the front suspension and the rear of the chassis. Shock towers have been cut off mid way down to except this Big ole honkin engine.
  22. Much obliged. Thanks. I appreciate it Carl. Thanks.
  23. That'll be a nice build. That MCW MCW Saddle tan looks pretty kewl.
  24. Welcome aboard Phillip. Lot of nice fellows here to chat with about models.

    1966 VW bug

Now that's a good looking Bug Jim. Great looking color. It reminds me of the shop my Fater in-law use to run. He loved the VW's.
