  3. Nice looking. Love that color.
  4. I'm liking this one. I like your collection of Coca-Cola vehicles.
  5. Love that color. Nice build.
  6. Much appreciated Roger. You are correct Sir.
  7. Much obliged Buddy. I think I gave this one 200% worth of effort and ended up with about 75%.
  8. I appreciate ya man. I tried my best to cover up my screw up. It will be in a case with that side facing the wall.
  9. Thank's Buddy. Always appreciate your comments.
  10. Haha....well, my little "Chunky" goofy build finally fell across the finish line. I'm just glad this nightmare is over. Thanks man.
  11. I appreciate it man. Yeah, and as I was dragging it over the finish line it still kept throwing the anchor out. Well, I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst on the next build.
  12. Thanks man. Yeah, there was a problem or two. That's what I had in mind when I did a mock-up of this little "Chunky" build.
  13. Another good looking 40 Ford Coupe.
  14. I think I'm calling this one done fellows. I feel better that this one is off the bench. Under Glass:https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/188326-1951-henry-j-gasser/
  15. This build was differently one of the most challenging and stressful builds I have had. It all started out late last year when I purchased the 51 Henry J Sedan Delivery resin body from Jimmy Flintstone. This was my first experience with a resin body and boy was I surprised at the work that was involved. The kit hood never did match up to the resin body but I was working around it. After I got some paint on the body I forgot about it being resin and put it in my Dehydrator for less than 10 min before I realized I had messed up. Yup, it warped the body really bad. I moved on to the kit body and decided to use the extra wheels & tires and engine from an M2 kit I picked up at HL. I decided to just make this a quick and easy build with no undercarriage so it's basically a semi curbside. I decided to go with the Tamiya Candy Lime Green Lacquer. Everything was going fine until I laid the body down a paper towel that had glue on it and yup, there went the paint job. I decided to use some decals to try and hide my screw up. This is not a quality build and I was somewhat disappointed in myself but it is what it is I guess. WIP: https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/186730-1951-henry-j-sedan-delivery-gasser/
  16. Pretty nice looking project with the VW Beetle. Good looking wheels & tires and that front end turned out Super.
  17. Gotya...I stand corrected.
  18. That color your seeing is the Easy-Off Taking the blue paint off.
  19. I really do appreciate all the encouragement I've gotten from everyone on this forum and others. If it was not for all the great support from everyone this one would have never seen the finish line.
  20. I had some glue on a paper towel and I sat the model right down on it and didn't know. Yup, Monster truck is still a go. I finished it just so I could get it out of the way. Thanks David. I just go so discouraged with this build that I let it get the best of me. I wanted this one done so I went ahead and finished it up today. Thanks. Yup, both of these just did not want to go my way and I let it get in my head. I took your advise and use some decals to try and hide my mistakes.
  21. Well...wife and I got back from a ride in the 49 and I saw this. This disaster started way back last year when I started this out with a 51 Henry J Sedan Delivery resin body. That all went belly up so I turned my efforts towards the kit body and some left over wheels & tires and engine from an M2 kit. Now this has went belly up. Can't repaint as the glass has been install along with other parts glued on so I give up on this build as it has beat me down. I am so disappointed in myself that I am taking a break for a while.
  22. I didn't like what I was seeing so it's being stripped and I'll start over.
  23. That is really starting to come together. Looking Super sharp.

    30 ford

It's tough to beat an old 30 Ford when building a Hot Rod. Nicely done.
