  2. This is looking pretty kewl. I'm liking the color selection.
  3. I finally got some paint on the body. It was in the Dehydrator on Friday for about 20 hrs. Wednesday I'll need to sand the paint a little to take out some of the grain then I'll shoot the clear on.
  4. Those trim stripes look really nice. I'll see what is available either at the hobby shop or HL. Thanks man.
  5. Thanks Roger. I'm getting pretty close on this one.
  6. Thanks man. Much obliged.
  7. Those look pretty good David. I'm assuming it's the Evergreen Scale Models product. What's the Item No.?
  8. Well....I'm hoping so David. Very very early in the game on this one so nothing is in stone yet. I'm heading to the hobby shop tomorrow to see about some plastic stripes to mimic the chrome trim on the fenders. If I can't get that figured out I may have to shift gears.
  9. On yeah. One Bad looking 54 Chevy Gasser. The color along with the white decals look Great. Nice build.
  10. I'm liking this one. Great looking color.
  11. I did a little body work on the 50 Chevy cab this morning. If you look a the pic of my 1:1 49 Chevy pickup you'll see that there are no seems on the corners of the cab or the back wall so they had to be deleted.
  12. Great looking Corvair.
  13. That's going to look really nice once the trim goes on.
  14. Pretty kewl looking 41 Willy's.
  15. That's one Bad looking 57 Chevy Jim. I like how you shaved everything.
  16. I did a little research this morning and this was all I came up with for an upgrade kit or detail set for the AMT 1950 Chevy pickup. Looks like I may have to try and make what I want. Anyone ever use this detail set?
  17. I hear ya about not liking the finish. Been there and done that myself. I used the oven cleaner on my 55 Nomad when the paint job went south and it worked Great.
  18. That's a Great looking Merc. Love the detail on the ole flatty. I built this kit earlier this year. Nice kit.
  19. Question, do you know of anyone that makes an upgrade kit (circled in pic) for the 50 Chevy pickup that I could buy before I start trying to make the pieces?  Thanks man.

  20. Thanks for the info Tom. I'll have to check into some of the styrene strips at the hobby shop when I get to that point.
  21. Thanks. Don't know If the styrene strips would bend around the radius on the fenders.
