  1. There were certain areas where you would see them quite often.
  2. Here's a picture of the hood he's looking for:
  3. Since it's very hot out and the A/C doesn't work, I finally decided to change the passenger side window motor on the old work truck. It would go down about a third, but a few weeks ago it quit completely. I've done plenty of window motors before but this one was more of a pain than usual. Mostly because the included bolts interfere with the mounting and operation of the regulator. First I had to grind the heads mostly off two of the three motor mounting bolts so the regulator would even move. Then I had to clearance grind two of those on the nut side to get the regulator to sit properly. But it works now.
  4. They have at least some of the pickup tooling in the form of the USA-1 monster truck.
  5. My Testors issue of the AMX measures 6 7/8 inches front to back.
  6. I wouldn't mind some Goodbeer or Fireprone tires.
  7. It has some extra camber probably from ball joints or control arm bushings but it doesn't get used much so it wasn't really a priority. It's sitting because I need to work on the brakes and I was going to look into that more while I was at it.
  8. I did not realize Rockville was a multiple day event, and that my wife would be taking our daughter there again today. She asked for a list, so I told her a few. She brought me these:
  9. My wife went to Daytona Beach to drop our daughter off at Rockville and found a place that sells models. Not so much a hobby shop but a place at the flea market that has both old and new. She surprised me with one she knew I wanted.
  10. The S series trucks use a very similar setup. You could use parts from the AWD 93 S10.
  11. Knob means the same thing in America.
  12. Not much of a selection at the Ollie's near where I was working, but I did get this:

    69 AMX parts

    867-5309. Ask for Jenny.
  14. Round 2 has most of the regular cab long bed tooling in the form of the USA-1 monster truck. There was some alterations to it to make the monster truck.
  15. Sounds reasonable. Happens all the time with people's "arms".
  16. My guess would be that the tow truck driver flipped it back over and then they drove it 700 miles home.
  17. I think a jumping the shark on a motorcycle diorama would be much more interesting.
  18. I also have no way to add pictures.
  19. I guess it's a good thing I changed the wheels on the van.
