  1. I like a lot of the 1/32 kits. Yours looks like the same issue I have, I have all six in the series. I guess I must have gotten it at least 15 years ago. I like how yours is coming along.
  2. I did something similar with my truck. It wouldn't run sometimes because of a faulty Passlock system, so I rewired it to accept an older non-Passlock computer. I didn't want to send my only computer, the original, away to have the Passlock removed.
  3. I don't like it. I would want the stock version, which I have.
  4. I see at least two things wrong with this picture:
  5. I get messed with for not using air tools. I guess I should for taking apart, but I like to feel how tight I'm tightening things.
  6. Every time this thread comes up, I think of this:
  7. I haven't seen a fuel injected 4.9, I want one to build my old '87.
  8. I'm working near an Ollie's so I stopped in. They got in some things that weren't there last time I went. I was looking for the Pinto, the Galaxy was so the Pinto wasn't lonely for the ride home.
  9. No, it has clear headlights. I think it's a very nice kit, it has several optional parts like dual Predator carbureters.
  10. Colonial Photo and Hobby, located on Mills Avenue downtown Orlando. It's sectioned out with photography stuff, trains, and plastic kits. RC, puzzles and such too. It's the best one around here. They're closed Sundays.
  11. For some reason, I have a sudden craving for some Rice Crispy treats.
  12. The hood has a large cutout on the monster truck, and it's also a longbed.
  13. I had to see a specialist today, and the LHS was on the way. I limited myself to two before I went in, and although it was tough I was able to stick with that. These two won:
  14. That's an aftermarket a/c compressor., not stock for that car.
  15. Depends on how accurate you want it to be since the kit has incorrect front suspension, rear end and no stock bumpers.
  16. You should get some rest, you look two tired.
  17. "Two footing" an automatic got you laughed at or yelled at, depending on who was in the car with you.
  18. I may not build often, but I get plenty of enjoyment seeing my boxes of kits on display throughout my house. I tried to give my wife a good starting point for selling them off when I'm gone, but she didn't like that idea. "Those aren't going anywhere."
  19. And the winner is... blocked radiator. I think it may have been partially blocked and the block sealer finished it off, as it runs cooler now with a new radiator than it ever did before even with the old engine. I got a lot of junk out of the block, a lot of junk. There was even gobs of RTV inside from when they "glued" the water pump and thermostat housing on. The old radiator weighs at least twice as much as the new one.
  20. Here in Florida a three wheeled vehicle is considered a motorcycle and as such doesn't require insurance.
  21. I saw a red one around the Winter Park area at an auto shop about 35 years ago every day going to school and thought almost the same thing as this one.
