  1. Everything is fitting together very nicely! The nail head Buick is a nice nostalgic touch.
  2. Hi Kit. thanks for looking in and providing your comments. I have been watching your 29 Ford GSL build. Absolutely awesome! Hope to see it in person at Salt Lake.
  3. HI John. Thanks for following along and commenting.
  4. Built a rack and pinion based on a flaming river 1:1 design. Used aluminum tubing and aluminum stock.
  5. I carved the front a arms out of aluminum. Roughed together door panels and I think I know what I will do for seats and a center console.
  6. Hey Charlie. Thanks for looking in and commenting. I took a look at your 32 salt flat car. WOW!!! Very impressive. The beading and engine/chassis detail are awesome.
  7. Hey Dan. Thanks for sharing this pic. Very cool truck.
  8. I Ian. Thanks for your feedback. I consider having a master modeler like you consider using one of my techniques a great compliment!
  9. Thanks for checking in Frances. As always, your comments and perspective are very much appreciated!!!
  10. Thanks for the feed back. To me this is one of the Fords Henry should have built.
  11. Nice work!! That interior is awesome and your foil work is very nicely done.
  12. Thanks for your comments. I stuck a pin into the stainless tube so about .75 mm stuck out. I drilled a hole in the side of the aluminum tube and inserted the end of the pin into the hole drilled in the aluminum tube. I used lok tite liquid super glue to hold it together.
  13. Thanks for the feedback.. Glad you like it.
  14. The rear suspension is roughed together. Stainless tubing, aluminium tubing and modified RD Unique coil overs.
  15. Try the Ertl 53 Ford hood. The old Revell hood, body and fenders are very incorrect relative to the 1:1 F100. The Ertl 53 Ford F100 is the best. The Monogram 55 F100 is also way out of scale.
  16. Hi Francis. The grill is perfect!!! Good choice on starting with the Revell chassis. I also agree with your thoughts about brass versus styrene in some cases. FYI I started a thread in WIP pickups called 48 Ford Ranchero. I always appreciate your comments.
  17. Thanks for the feedback. Just took a look at your blown FD100. Looking good!
  18. Thanks for your feedback. I was hoping the big rear window made sense to others who see it.
  19. Looking good. Like the way you cut the hood around the blower and pully.
  20. Another 48 coupe converted to a pickup. Front fenders and hood from Testers 48 coupe. Revell 50 Ford pickup body stretched a few inches until the big back window from the Foose fd100 fit. Foose fd100 frame and Roush motor will be used. Probably doing steel wheels with Ford dog dish hubcaps. Probably will be House of Colors tangerine. I would be honored to see some of you follow along.
  21. Hi Francis. Good to see you back at it! You nailed the deck lid and tail light section. The molding for the deck lid to rest on appears to be spot on! The deck lid appears to be pretty thin in some areas, are you concerned about it warping during the painting process?
  22. I like the horizontal quad headlight treatment. have you considered removing an inch or two from the top
