    My summer project. Building the 65,66 and 67 Impala SSs. 1232 cubic inches of Chevrolet V8 power.

    Out of the box AMT 67 Impala. The only thing I added was the filler cap to the heater hose and brake lines. My father bought a brand new 69 Bel Air that was exactly this color. It was a 4-door with a 250 straight six and a 3 on the tree. A real dog of a car. I imagine him buying this car instead in an alternate reality. I should have cleaned the dust off before I took pictures

    Exceptional job!! The front end is sittin too high, but thats AMT's fault as usual.

    Thats a tough looking impala. The black paint looks just like the Earl Scheibs black paint job my buddy put on his 68 Pontiac 40 years ago.

    Cool project. That valve cover looks excellent.

    You did a great job on this. I still cant understand how AMT screwed up the headlight bezels on the 55 Nomad but got this one right.
