i used to love pee wee's playhouse when i was a kid. it all got cancelled for the arrest but i was too young to really understand. i loved his movies as a kid too. i will say as an adult now, it doesnt have the same appeal

i was able to pick up the box. the final person i spoke to i guess did what they said they would do, but man this was painful. the item was 400 dollars, which is a really lot of money for me, and i didnt trust they would deliver it, especially since the driver never even showed up to mark it as not available. the guy at the fedex office was cool. it was a big, and heavy box and he wheeled it out to my truck for me.

i am so annoyed right now. i had a package due for delivery today with fedex. i kept the door open all day so i could hear them if they came, and i sit facing the window where i could see them pull up. i get an email that says my package could not be delivered because the resident was not home. however, i have been home all day by the door. so i call fedex like 5 minutes after getting this email, and ask if they can swing back by because i am home. the person i spoke to just said its now schedule to be delivered tomorrow. i said, please let me speak to a supervisor to see what we can do with this. he refused. he said he could make notes that say to knock on the door or ring the door bell, and i was, are you serious. they should already be doing that. so i asked again, and again he said no. i hung up, called right back and got someone that would transfer me to a USA supervisor. i spoke with him and he said that he spoke to the local office to see if they can come by again and they would call me back. nobody called me back after 3 hours. i decided i should call again because if they arent going to redeliver it, then i will just pick it up. i call, and get a person that just kept saying we have 7 days to deliver this. i kept saying i was working with someone already on this. they refused to help, so i asked to speak to a supervisor. she refused. kept saying that they had 7 days. i said, please connect me to a supervisor because i would like to make a complaint. she said about what. i said about you, you refuse to help me. she said i can document your complaint. i asked several more times, she just said no. i hung up and called back and just said i need to make a complaint, and would like to speak with a supervisor. i got the supervisor right away, and explained what is going on, that i just want to pick up the package at this point because they didnt call back and i would also like, if it is possible to listen to the prior call i had because it was by far the worst customer service i already had. so after work i will go to fedex and see if they have my package or if i am just going to be disappointed again

I got email that the paint has shipped and will arrive on Friday. Perfect timing for working on it over the weekend.

Everything is all primed up. Just waiting on paint bi can paint a few bits but mostly I'm as far as I can go.

The decals in the amt are similar

This kit is quickly turning into my top model. I have built the engine and it's perfectly fit together. No shaving or sanding needed to line up the seats fit amazingly together. No gap filling. The body has 2 tiny spots of flash but was easy and only a couple of spots for mold lines There are a lot of little bits so it will be able to be really detailed. I hope this goes together the way it has been. My last 3 builds were rough going

I'm going to be honest, my favorite classic was always the 65/66 mustang fastback. I felt the design was incredible. However, the more I look at this the more I like it. I don't think anything will overtake my love the mustang but this might squeeze into my top 3 favorite classic cars

The body is primed. I used the black primer because I love how the silver blue looks when black primer is used. Unfortunately, the paint is on order, I don't have any here. I will work on the engine and chassis first. I have the paint for the interior on order as well

Surprisingly, this is the first time I have ever built a Chevelle kit as far back as I can remember. This kit looks tremendous, as far as I can tell this was previously a Lindbergh kit?? So far I have trimmed off all the pieces from the trees and cleaned up the body and prepped it for primer. I will spray it tomorrow. The plan is to make it a silvery blue color.

The Corvette is complete. The decals have not arrived yet so I will put them on when they come. I'm pretty happy with it but it's not 100% Onto the international scout from amt

The car is built except the bumpers. They were terribly molded. I sanded them down and rechrome them. I just have to wait for it to dry I couldn't get the hood to stay on so I glued it in place. I also found out the hard way that the engine in stock form using stock hood cant take the lowered look. It pops the hood up. Other than that I think it was a generally decent build. I did get a mark on the paint but I sanded it out and respray that spot and it looks fine. Can't tell. I'm also still waiting on the decals. I will post the picture of the finished car after I put on the bumpers

i am pretty sick of getting a customer service rep that either refuses to listen to the issue or doesnt understand a basic issue and just repeats what they are saying, even though it has nothing to do with what the issue is. i just gave up and closed the support chat

Interior is done. It isn't great. The paint I got did not go on easy. I think it's ok but I'm not happy with it. I did put the shifter in after the picture

Last night in the middle of the night I was woken up by a crazy storm. It sounded like it was right above our apartment. I could hear the thunder and the crack of lightning right above my head. At one point there was a really long thunder and I could hear what sounded like arching electricity. My apartment was shaking during the storm. I better go outside and make sure that there isn't a group of 90 little people dancing around singing about a dead witch

I see from the picture that the exhaust looks terrible. I'm going to have to give it a once over

How long does it take to dry. I sprayed a piece and was dry to touch but when I put it on I noticed my finger print had removed some of the paint. It wasn't like my finger print was in the paint, it's like my finger removed the paint. I took a piece of cloth and rubbed it and respray and it was fine. I just don't know how long I have to wait now

Here is the chassis I had the engine 90% done but lost the fan blade when I was gluing it. Thankfully I have another but I have to repaint it Interior is next but I'm still waiting on the stuff so I won't get far
