  1. I hope this is allowed, but any good model shops in Portland or Seattle or in between? Thanks
  2. Those would need a new dash and doghouse too but I'm excited to see what you come up with
  3. Whoops, sorry about that. I got too excited and I'm always used to having hawaii excluded. Will definitely order sometime, hope you come out with more van stuff, chevy van update parts maybe?

NICE! This is exactly what I wanted to do too. Someone has to make these decals on their own
  5. Yeah why doesn't anybody make these kits? Or add them as customizing parts to stock kits?
  6. It wouldve been cool, but highly unlikely, to be a Rapid Transit type custom
  7. Does anyone make different grilles for the AMT chevy van? Would be nice to see more parts made for these, also is anyone making a uhaul body?
  8. Its similar to an ice cream truck, in hawaii they're called manapua vans and they sell noodles, Asian snacks and candy. I patterned mine after the amt drag van kit
  9. I was wondering, are the prices of the A Team van crazy because the tooling was irreparably backdated when the Dirty Donny version came out? I built this van from the recent rescue van and you can see the roof rib marks from the A team van ( I reused the roof skin to make the tall top)
  10. This photo always tempts me into putting the mpc 1980 wagon front end on the amt 77
  11. Anyone got ahold of him lately?
  12. I built one long ago when it first came out. I got it together so I guess it was alright haha..
  13. This almost looks like the rolling stock from the monogram 70 chevelle
  14. I just received the replacement hoods today and they look much better, thank you guys for the help and insight
  15. Prices on clean examples have been skyrocketing lately
  16. I was curious if the mold is forever modified into the impala or could the old caprice kit ever come back?
  17. I just wish they'd fix the headlights on the 62 corvette
  18. The current foxy box chevy van has a molded in hood but also includes the separate hood so its almost there
  19. Thanks to your suggestion I scraped up the courage to email him and he was nice about it and offered to send new hoods ( I bought a hood for a different car at the same time, it had bubbles, but not as bad. Hopefully good news arrives in my mailbox soon
  20. I was thinking about that, but I'd have to get a whole 'nother kit to change my theme
  21. How are the tires and mold quality? Flash etc?
  22. Hey guys, months ago I purchased a 70 challenger flat hood for the 1/24 RM kit and some other items from a well known caster. They had numerous pinholes in them and I painted and used one piece and it came out fine since they were under the surface. I only recently prepped the hood and it seems like much more work than its worth. Im not sure what some of you would do. I dont buy much resin parts so I wouldn't know what is acceptable and what is trash. This caster has always seemed to have good reviews on his items. It did fit well at least. I was just trying to fill in the holes with dabs of tamiya primer. I'm just frustrated right now, if anyone knows who else makes one, let me know, thanks
