My pace has slowed to a crawl..but I got some done last night on the motor and cleaned up the body for paint.

How's it coming..my build has stalled due to selling house..but I did work on the scratch built cylinders las night..at this rate it will take...forever.

This is great..after seeing models like this I bought Ken Forans book. Do you use a lathe or small milling machine?

There's a lot of mistakes in the directions so having actual pics is key..I printed every pic I could and read every build diary on it..there's a lot out there ..just have to find it. Sux that I discovered that the another suspension mistake was not in the directions and it was too late to correct unless I want to unbolt it. But have to move on.

The tubes came in for the barrels..11 mm and 14 mm..cut cement together with epoxy..then i'll add some putty to blend them together..drill the holes paint..and hopefully they will look ok

While waiting for the tubes to build the cylinders I botched up I figured I would use some of the PE bolt ends..all 60 of them..Then started on the dash. Used adhesive backed aluminum and made some rocker switches from wire, nuts and JB weld for the ends..

I'm going to try to make the tee fittings with brass tube and nuts..going to try to solder it up. Waiting for a book on how to work with brass but I can solder plumbing pretty well. Ordered aluminum spark plugs from RB Motion..expensive but what the hell.. The hose clamps look great. And the wiring is perfect.And the copper came out perfect as well!

This is great..was wondering about the wiring as it looked pretty strange the way they want you to do it..so..I get to copy you again..LOL looks great..I'm going to try to make my own springs..that should be fun. How are you going to do the piping..I'm going with brass rod and tube.
