  1. Beautiful RX7. One of the best-looking sports cars of all times.
  2. Great looking Subaru.
  3. Three from a local flea market. The engine on the mustang was started, but other than that all intact. The 59 Impala was part of a series. I have the other two. One being a 59 pink Cadillac convertible, and the other is a 1955 chevy convertible. I think the Rolls is going to be a full blown LSX powered, big wheel sled as there is not much in the way of detail on it.
  4. I love it. I have never seen Rotary shaped wheels before, but it makes sense.
  5. Outstanding. A few months ago, I was looking to see if a kit, or resin kit existed, and when I came up empty handed, I broke down and purchased the Motormax version in black. I had not thought about detailing it until now. Great work.
  6. I have a still sealed AMT 1/16 scale 55 Chevy convertible body, tub, frame, hood, doors and convertible boot only. I am looking for the sunroof for the Polar Lights Coca-Cola Beetle or maybe some 1/16 scale Cragar SS wheels.
  7. Day two of my ebay bad choices. At least I have another B-body.
  8. I have the wagon version from MadMan. Great kit.
  9. I never win ebay auctions. Last Sunday night I placed minimum bids on 7 with 0 bids about to expire withing 24 hours. I won 6 of them, only losing out on a monogram Citation. Long story short, three showed up today. Like I need another b-body. Can't have too many. I have another 94 Impala SS coming too.
  10. I have put Tesors Wet look clear lacquer over Duplicolor with good results. No need to polish, and it really protects the base coat from almost anything except sunlight, as I do not think testors is UV safe. Duplicolor clear is good too, but I do not think it is as durable as Testors Lacquer
  11. Beautiful Corvette.
  12. Very nice. I like the color. Did you use duplicolor primer, and clear too?
  13. Great build. Now you need a 64 Mustang convertible and slash the right side of it just like in Goldfinger.
  14. It's a mattress Officer, I swear. Just ignore the screams. It is a smart mattress. It hates the plastic.
  15. I had to do it. The 1/16 scale 55 was on sale, and who can resist Herbie. It will go with my Herbie Baja Bug. The Herbie is molded in color to match the real Herbie.
  16. My wife is always on the hunt for cheap curio cabinets. I have three now, and this one being the nicest one yet. It is self sealing. I will take one of the shelves to a local glass shop to have a few more made, or ordered. I love how it looks with most of my built models in it.
  17. All is good Wylde. We are on track now. Thank you.
  18. I built my first model car in 1974ish. It was MPC Coo Coo Marlin Monte Carlo from the NASCAR Series. I never finished it, and only recently found one and built it. The first complete model was a funny AMT kit called the Lug Bug around the same time.
  19. I have ordered from Canuck3D recently with good results. May 3rd, I placed an order, got an email letting me know another email would come giving me payment options like it has in the past. However I am yet to get the payment email, and I have reached out to Wylde to see if he can send/resend the payment email, and I have gotten no response. I am aware he might be busy, but it has been almost two weeks with no response. My only thoughts were maybe I missed something where he would be away, on vacation, sick, shut down temporarily, or just out of business. I hope the latter is not true as he makes a great quality product.
  20. I love it. Pontiac should have built it. The closest they ever came was in 2008 with the G8 ST, but it never made the US market.
  21. My three consists of Popular Hot-Rodding's "Project X" "Hollywood Knights" Version 57 Chevy. Mike Finnegan's "Blasphemi" 55 Chevy, and David Freiburger's "General Mayhem" 68 Charger
  22. Thank you everyone. It is such an iconic car for two reasons, and I had always wanted to build it.
