  1. This is my current pile of bad decisions. It is faster than my 87 grand national, 94 and 96 impala ss, or any of my fox bodied Mustangs in stock form and is on par with both of my 09 Pontiac G8s. It is a 2014 Cadillac ATS4 AWD Performance Collection with a 321 hp 3.6 Direct Injected Dual overhead cam VVT engine. 5.4-5.6 sec 0-60, and mid 13.5-14 second 1/4-mile times.
  2. it be raining 1/8 scale 1985 Corvettes. Seriously I would never buy a duplicate model of this size, but I wanted one that was sealed and got it for a great price compared to the others out there. The one I originally purchased had some body damage that I was able to easily fix. It will be painted a different color. The sealed one will just be clear coated if I ever get the guts to break the seal.
  3. It is very rare to see a scale model be confused with the real thing, but you pulled it off. Outstanding! The modern take on the tri-power is over the top. Absolutely amazing.
  4. That looks incredible. So realistic. The Revell wheels, and decals for the emblems along with the paint work together to make it almost fresh from the dealer.
  5. The black one is from 1979, and it is 100% complete and unbuilt. The Magnum one was from 1982, partially bult, painted, and missing parts and instructions. The cost of both combined was less than a 1/4 of what a sealed Magnum Ferrari sells for. The Magnum one had a bar code. The Black one does not.
  6. Outstanding.
  7. Beautiful RX7. One of the best-looking sports cars of all times.
  8. Great looking Subaru.
  9. Three from a local flea market. The engine on the mustang was started, but other than that all intact. The 59 Impala was part of a series. I have the other two. One being a 59 pink Cadillac convertible, and the other is a 1955 chevy convertible. I think the Rolls is going to be a full blown LSX powered, big wheel sled as there is not much in the way of detail on it.
  10. I love it. I have never seen Rotary shaped wheels before, but it makes sense.
  11. Outstanding. A few months ago, I was looking to see if a kit, or resin kit existed, and when I came up empty handed, I broke down and purchased the Motormax version in black. I had not thought about detailing it until now. Great work.
  12. I have a still sealed AMT 1/16 scale 55 Chevy convertible body, tub, frame, hood, doors and convertible boot only. I am looking for the sunroof for the Polar Lights Coca-Cola Beetle or maybe some 1/16 scale Cragar SS wheels.
  13. Day two of my ebay bad choices. At least I have another B-body.
  14. I have the wagon version from MadMan. Great kit.
  15. I never win ebay auctions. Last Sunday night I placed minimum bids on 7 with 0 bids about to expire withing 24 hours. I won 6 of them, only losing out on a monogram Citation. Long story short, three showed up today. Like I need another b-body. Can't have too many. I have another 94 Impala SS coming too.
  16. I have put Tesors Wet look clear lacquer over Duplicolor with good results. No need to polish, and it really protects the base coat from almost anything except sunlight, as I do not think testors is UV safe. Duplicolor clear is good too, but I do not think it is as durable as Testors Lacquer
  17. Beautiful Corvette.
  18. Very nice. I like the color. Did you use duplicolor primer, and clear too?
  19. Great build. Now you need a 64 Mustang convertible and slash the right side of it just like in Goldfinger.
  20. It's a mattress Officer, I swear. Just ignore the screams. It is a smart mattress. It hates the plastic.
  21. I had to do it. The 1/16 scale 55 was on sale, and who can resist Herbie. It will go with my Herbie Baja Bug. The Herbie is molded in color to match the real Herbie.
