  1. That's beautiful ride. Great job on the paint and engine.
  2. Beautiful build and the color is perfect for that . The pictures are clear and well composed. Thanks for sharing
  3. That's a productive year you have there. they are all great looking but to me the challenger looks pretty awesome in that color. Great job sir
  4. Nice Group, Santa would look great in the green convertible. great builds.
  5. Thank you all for comments and suggestions. That's a great idea Rusty, something to keep in mind for my next junkyard project, a 65 chevy. That's definitely gonna be in there.
  6. Started last year, I worked on it on and off until recently. The tractor is pretty much box stock aside from the mirror frames . I used paper clips for the frames. The trailer is also box stock. The CAT had a little more details. The roof frame is scratch built. I added hydraulic piping on the front cylinders. Added some rust, dust and mud . The front grill was drilled on a CNC . The decal just did not do it for me. Since it is a recent issue, there were no CATERPILLAR decals so I printed my own. Overall I am pleased with the result. My father was a heavy machinery operator so this model brings up a lot of memories of my youth and my late father . I think he would have like it. Happy holidays everyone.?
  7. Nice Camaro , I like the interior black/white contrast. I like the color choice.
  8. Nicely done , Beautiful color for both. Great job.
  9. I like both though being a big Mopar fan, the Chevy looks particularly good in that color. Great builds both. ??
  10. Welcome Joe, you will find a lot of material here and friendly advice. Feel free to ask away.
  11. A nice curbside kit from Aoshima. Build is straightforward without any issue. Paint is Tamiya dark gun metal with yellow accent on suspension.
  12. Did this one last year, as the frame was a little warped and the kit was missing some parts , I decided to build it as a derelict rotting away in a field. The peeling chrome on the bumpers were done by first , stripping the chrome, then painting them red brown before foiling and then like in real life peeling bits of chrome. I remember being young playing in junkyards seeing that thick chrome peeling right off when we would pull on large pieces. Chrome back then was very thick. I tried to simulate that on this model. thank you for looking and commenting.
  13. The amount of details these little things have is quite impressive. Great job !
  14. As others have said , it is very well done and came out really good.
  15. Nice builds, Beautiful outdoor photos. The spirit of ST Louis caught my eye as I am an aviation buff. I used to build airplanes before I got into cars.
  16. Great rod in an awesome paint job. I like the exhaust pipes.
  17. Great build, I like the color and the finish. The interior is nicely detailed.
  18. Welcome to t he forum Marten.

  20. Thanks guys, and Zippi, I think you're right , time to bring the cops. Stay tuned!
  21. Classic kit from Monogram. Not much details, just build to look like a simple delivery truck. I fitted steelies with hub caps from the part box and used coca cola decals I had from other kits. They issued a for 40 with that paint scheme, I wanted to see how it would look on this old Chevy.
  22. Nice little quick build from AMT. This is the curb side version before they re-issued this kit with the trailer and engine. The color is Tamiya acrylics sky grey mixed with white and green coated with TS 13 clear. Thanks for looking.
  23. This engine looks so real, to say nothing about the truck. Absolutely gorgeous.
  24. Beautiful Chevy and the paint job is simply flawless. Fantastic job .
  25. Agreed with the others, it is a superb build. It looks pretty good in that garage.
