  1. As mentioned/referenced earlier in this topic, the original Blazer mold suffered some damage early on and was repaired, but the door handles are now severely undersized. The undersized handles are still present on the Pulldozer and Mad Mudder kits, which leads me to believe Monogram decided to salvage what they could, and extensively rework the kit to get something useable out of it.
  2. I think an additional pair of lowering spindles was added when the Rides Magazine version was released. Are these the two spindles in question, at the top of the image next to the disc brake rotors?:
  3. It's still present, at least according to the instruction sheet from the 2018 reissue: Any day now...
  4. Kind of funny that the canard wings are present at all, as they didn't last long on the real cars. Another image straight from Atlantis:
  5. This place has some listed, with full measurements: https://store.rc4wd.com/rc4wd-interco-super-swamper-10-tslbogger-scale-tires.html
  6. Depends upon the year of issue more than the subject, as Round2 has wisely never include them in any kits, so you'd have to consider pre-2006 AMT/Ertl kits (and especially pre-'90s kits) -- '33 Willys Coupe, '53 Vette, '29 Ford Woody, '32 Ford Roadster, '32 Vicky, etc.
  7. I have these two which are from the #2226 1/24 Monogram '55 Ford Panel. The O.D. measures .496", so just a hair under 1/2":
  8. Not sure where I got this, but that appears to be The Kat himself on the Rat Race board?:
  9. Maybe Art Van de Lay was in charge of that. 😁 Vintage sales sheet for the AMT '32 Ford, with some showroom and dealer info at the bottom:
  10. Someone mentioned this in another topic, but I guess it would fit in with this topic-- the 33-1/3 RPM record included with the 1/25 AMT '68 Shelby GT500 Mustang kit, as pictured.
  11. Same here. Hopefully the appearance of the Charger is a sign Atlantis will or has acquired licensing from...Stellantis? I would like to build the Mustang II, too. 😁 These are great subjects for a slump buster or 24-hour build, too. Not too complex, generic enough to appeal to a wide range of folks, and a great canvas for custom paint and/or decals.
  12. I read you mentioned that on their facebook post. Guess we'll see soon enough if those parts are included. Meanwhile, on Instagram (you really should follow Atlantis there...) comes this test build of the Charger:
  13. Yes, they did. I touched upon that here: I figured since they must have gone through all the design work, why not make them (or, alternatively, the BFGs or Goodyear Wranglers) in the "other" (1/25 or 1/16, depending) scale, too?
  14. I don't know, and I have not heard nor read that specifically stated anywhere.
  15. I was glad to see the Charger body, which wasn't part of the most recently re-issued group of three under the Luminators series:
  16. Head back to page three. I just refreshed the image yesterday:
  17. I think it's more the blocks which spill over onto the sidewalls which kill the look for me. The zig-zag groove is huge, too, which doesn't help things.
