  1. The 1:1 Satellite never had the Road Runner hood which was included with Monogram's '71 Satellite kit. Hart's Parts has long offered the Satellite hood, however: https://hartspartsresin.com/product/71-plymouth-satellite-hood/
  2. I was thinking the opposite. The bird bath/Road Runner hood is perfection, especially paired with tank track stripes emanating from them, spilling down the fenders. ? Other than the ramps/bulges hood and dual quad (or is it a high rise tunnel ram style?) intake manifold, which other unique parts are in that lot?
  3. Is he a YouTuber? ? More on the AMT Sprint Car series:
  4. They have plenty of input, from multiple knowledgeable sources, on the automotive side.
  5. I dunno. All of the 1/24 Monogram street machine type parts for their 2'n 1 musclecar kits were a bit generic, so while their may have been some resemblance to earlier vehicles and eras, I doubt there was any intention to offer replica parts for a specific car using the optional parts.
  6. Yes, let's make light of people's lives being destroyed by war, something which they want no part of.
  7. Definitely similar to the Motown Missile Cuda P/S: I did a comparison between the '71 Satellite and GTX a decade ago, but the images I took didn't get saved from my Photobucket-to-fotki transition, so they are gone. I think the Satellite test shot parts were a forum member's, and if so, maybe he can chime in, if he so desires.
  8. ? I'll let Jesse carry on here, and hopefully others give their honest opinions as he requested.
  9. Yes, the kit number is 85-4268: https://www.revell.com/products/70-plymouth-hemi-cuda-2-n-1.html
  10. I have to be honest. The surface texture of a real Cherry Bomb style muffler is smooth, while the 3D printed parts are not even close to smooth, which sticks out like a sore thumb. Not sure if that is a resolution limitation or what, but, while the shape looks good to me, the texture is unacceptable. It simply doesn't look like a 1/25 scale version if the real thing because of the texture. I'm not sure how people are looking past that and ignoring it, but maybe they've never seen nor held a real Cherry Bomb style muffler in their hand, and felt it has a smooth, painted steel case? Yes, the above image shows a slight orange peel texture, which, in 1/25 would imperceptible for 99% of us. The Borla mufflers suffer from the same issue, and appear a bit lumpy in areas, and the printed texture/layers are clearly visible, which makes them look a bit like a carbon fiber texture, which, they shouldn't. Very thin areas, such as the lips/rims of the wheel back seem to be something which is a bit beyond the limits of the equipment you are using, too. The lip is inconsistent, and the small notches or voids catch your eye instantly. I don't see how what is pictured would be acceptable to use as is. Sorry if my criticism sounds harsh, Jesse, but based upon what I see, I feel others who have commented are not giving a fair and honest critique of the finished product, but maybe it's good enough for them? Hopefully my concerns and honest critique resonate with you, and you are able to get finished parts more true to their 1:1 counterparts.
  11. AMT-1316 1/25 Ford LN8000 Race Car Hauler
  12. AMT 1329 -- Groove Boss Super Modified AMT 1330 -- George Barris Ala Kart AMT 1342 -- 1966 Chevy Chevelle SS AMT 1349 -- Hot Wheels 1997 Dodge Viper GTS (snap)
  13. Need a small bubble top? Head to JO-ANN's and grab a pair of these googly eyes:
  14. A fender/running board piece from...? I think I've ruled out the Revell T-bone Stake and it's relatives, as well as the MPC Big Rig Rod. Front fender is tweaked inward a bit:
  15. There's a lot if luck involved, honestly. You only judge the selection based upon the one hour per week you spend inside the store, so who's to say what came and went the rest of the time? Here's another, better shot of the paperweight, as well as a few other things which caught my eyes: This was a timely find?:
  16. It's actually a paperweight from Keeler M-B, in Grand Rapids(?), MI.
  17. This front bumper looks '70 Barracuda-ish, but the two mounting tabs look unfamiliar. Molded in red plastic, so maybe MPC? Also, this bumper, which is definitely smaller than the 1/24 Monogram Squarebody Chevy C/K series bumper on the top, but looks very similar, but much shorter in height:
  18. Thanks. Looks like the Buick Special Wagon dash is a match: '63 Galaxie, too:
  19. I have a few dashboards I could use help identifying. Top black dash is MPC '67-'72 Chevy I believe, likely from the "Heavy Pedal" issue? Second is '70 Cougar? Pretty sure that tiny script on the glovebox says Cougar, not Mustang. White dash, no clue...late '50s GM? Bottom dash, in flat black, does have a script, too, but too unclear to make out.
  20. 1984 issue 1/16 AMT '55 Nomad, barely started:
  21. @Luc Janssens mentioned Dean Milano stated there were optional, second version built into the 1/24 Monogram '69 Dodge 440 Six Pack kit, so maybe the same held true for the Satellite?: Maybe not, if the extra space was used for the '71 GTX-specific parts.
