  1. I don't want anyone to go through that much work, honestly. I was hoping to find an existing option which was close, as the AMT '70 Ford Galaxie kit's existing wheels and tires are rather unfitting IMHO.
  2. Yes, but I will need to create a list of the specific sheets I am looking for. I added the few specific Ertl sheets I am looking for to my list above.
  3. That's what they are elected to do. Here they are doing just that, and in a rare case, mostly unanimously, and some grumpy old dudes get their knickers in a knot. Seriously, this will affect so few people, and is it really such a burden on our lives that we have to complain on the internet about it? I guess that's already been answered. 🤦‍♀️ That was one of the reasons given for the change, and specifically, the increase in traffic accidents immediately after the spring change happened. Hard to argue against that logic and the attempt to decrease traffic fatalities, but I have no doubt someone here will do just that, because, First World Problems.
  4. Same to you, Terry. Great trader.
  5. Probably already Google searched and found this, but in case not, some good info here: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/103206434/erik-evert-erikson "The company headquarters were located at 15 Mile and Groesbeck and eventually included three other Plants. Anchor Bay Plastics in Fairhaven, Viking Industrial Plastics in Sturgis and TLC Plastics In Madison Heights. All the plants were in Michigan and employed approximately 500 people."
  6. None of us are privy to what Revell can and can't do with this particular kit, so speculation and assumption only serve to make an...well, you know. It seems likely and reasonable they included what they could, based upon what was available. Do the specific inserts for the supercharged induction setup and 5-slot wheels still exist? Maybe they were lost or damaged in 1993, so they can't be used ever again. Not going to fault Revell for that, if that's the case. Really no surprises here, honestly. Just another reissue of a vintage Monogram kit, purely for nostalgia.
  7. Yes, provided I don't already have them. If you can send me a PM with an image of what you have (or a list, if you want t go through the effort), I will check to see which I don't already have.
  8. Don't! The Alumilite mold rubber they carry sets very quickly, and there are far better options.
  9. A snowboard and pair of matching boots, found in the 2021 reissue of the AMT 1/25 1995 GMC Sonoma SLS pickup:
  10. This eBay seller appears to be parting out an AMT Sonny & Cher kit: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_ssn=vintagemodelcarparts&store_name=vintagemodelcarparts&_dmd=2&_oac=1&_trksid=p2047675.m3561.l2562 https://www.ebay.com/itm/234466487005?hash=item36974aaadd:g:0M8AAOSwYqpiJ6Al
  11. And (hopefully) no "smoked" clear parts this time around.
  12. Is there anything in kit form which is very close to the factory full wheel cover for a 1970 Ford Galaxie (not LTD), as pictured below?
  13. I scan and upload them for reference. I find them helpful and interesting, and hopefully others do, too: https://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/
  14. Do you need these specifically for a Ford, Chevy, Dodge or something else? 1/25 scale? Some of the 1/25 Revell Chevy vans kits included them, like so:
  15. "I'm not a witch, I'm your wife!"
  16. I only recall the "SS 427" valve covers being included. I also just checked out hpiguy/Chris' preview for this kit, and it appears only the tunnel ram is included, and the supercharger parts are not. As far as wheel options are concerned, there are plenty, as Monogram used the big 'n' little Goodyear Rally GT tires on a plethora of kits back in the day, in 5-, 6-, and 8-lug bolt patterns. The recently reissued '79 El Camino had a decent set of chrome plated Cragar S/S wheels, which shouldn't be too hard to source.
  17. As Rob said above, there were originally metal coil springs included, but at some point MPC made some revisions, and styrene "fixed" springs replaced them. Here they are on the MPC '65 Corvette Sting Ray instruction sheet:
  18. JO-HAN '70 Olds Cutlass and Revell '72 Olds Cutlass convertible.
  19. No worries, thanks for looking. Jack, the GMC sheet arrived yesterday, thank you.
