  1. The blue Mustang IMSA was reissued once, as part of the SSP, and looking at eBay prices, they are equal to or less than what a new reissue would cost. Not sure there is a huge market for these kits, to be honest, even of Atlantis acquired them from Revell.
  2. FEATURE PACKED: Tommy Ivo’s Rear-Engine Dragster is an iconic kit from the Kats at AMT! Fully paintable, with an expanded and improved sheet of water-slide decals with authentic markings. 3. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Krtw0T0kkWvebLzYA4AyFhYZ8KEm9i0q/view I don't see the '56 Buick listed nor shown, so maybe that release was delayed.
  4. It's not having, but rather publicly sharing those opinions publicly which may be against the forum rules. The rules are very clear here, and Xingu/Mike has always leaned toward allowing questionable discussions proceed, so it's pretty hard to make a case for being a victim here.
  5. There is no premise. This is not Logic, Argumentaion and Debate 103 at University. You are capable of reading and understanding the rules, then deciding if you wish to participate while staying within those limits. Nobody is entitled to free speech on a private forum. Your civil rights aren't being violated, and you aren't being censored by evil tyrants. Yes, it probably IS you. Sometimes we have to put on our big boy pants and self reflect, understanding that we can be wrong at times, and that our own personal selfish wants, desires, and preferences do not align with the forum membership as a whole. I get plenty frustrated at times by things I read here, but then I realize I'm not special and move on with my life. You learn to ignore and avoid things which frustrate, irritate, and annoy you as a balanced adult, even though that usually comes at some cost. Such is life.
  6. Perhaps it's time to consider moving the 1:1 automotive topics/discussion from General Discussion altogether, and creating a sub-section (along with the 1:1 reference pictures) for it.
  7. Maybe it was the repeated excessive use of bold and all caps. Even if not, perhaps consider dialing back your tone of voice an apply some old school netiquette when posting.
  8. I think it might be from the IMC VW Beetle. I found a few other IMC Beetle parts from the same source, also molded in red plastic.

  10. To be blunt, so what? They screwed up their first try, and made half-hearted attempt at fixing it, so now we should be giving them credit for spending even more money? Sure, they could've pulled a Revell and said "Nope, the roof on the Mustang LX is correct, and nothing needs to be changed. We won't be changing anything.", but they chose to make changes (hopefully?) in an attempt to get the body closer to the real thing. That's great, but not only does the end result not achieve that goal, it made other areas incorrect now, too. Maybe not, but as a neutral observer and someone who can be impartial, how else am I to judge a company's merits other than by the finished products they sell? Nobody forced nor coerced Moebius into creating two all new early Nova kits. I love that they made an attempt to correct things, but they had to have been aware the roofline was too low (which also caused the DLO to appear too small in area) and fixing it would require significant tooling changes and considerable expense. They chose not to make those changes. I am not privy to the reasons why, but the end result is the roof is still the same incorrect height, and now the top of the beltline has an abrupt step in it, which is also incorrect. I understand the mere fact that an early Nova is available to purchase for $30 is enough to pacify most who will buy this kit, so it appears that's good enough for the folks at Moebius, too.
  11. It's disappointing to see, but we knew this was coming as the "correction" all along. Moebius' simply removed material above the beltline (now making that area incorrect) in an attempt gain more DLO area, while leaving the incorrect greenhouse untouched, meaning the roof is still the incorrect height. Moebius was aware of this major design flaw, yet tried to employ a cheap sleight of hand trick to fool the willing into believing they actually care about accuracy, instead of taking the time and going through the expense of fixing it properly.
  12. Ok, sorry then, I thought it was you, but perhaps I "remebered" something which wasn't.
  13. I suspect this is exactly what Round2 has planned, paired with the reappearance of the full streamliner body for the re-tooled go-kart, just like the annual '63 F-100 kit:
  14. Love how the side door laps the quarter panel by, well, quite a bit:
  15. AMT '63 Thunderbird Convertible's geegaws: Found in the AMT '64 Imperial Convertible kit...a dictaphone?:
  16. Maybe Round2 simply didn't get the Hurst wheels re-created in time to include them in this reissue, as they were included with the later #1191 '65 GTO reissue: Here are what the " Wrist Twist" steering parts look like:
  17. I do have these yet to scan and upload, so I think I have most of the AMT heavy truck sheets covered:
