  1. Yes, let's make light of people's lives being destroyed by war, something which they want no part of.
  2. Definitely similar to the Motown Missile Cuda P/S: I did a comparison between the '71 Satellite and GTX a decade ago, but the images I took didn't get saved from my Photobucket-to-fotki transition, so they are gone. I think the Satellite test shot parts were a forum member's, and if so, maybe he can chime in, if he so desires.
  3. 🤔 I'll let Jesse carry on here, and hopefully others give their honest opinions as he requested.
  4. Yes, the kit number is 85-4268: https://www.revell.com/products/70-plymouth-hemi-cuda-2-n-1.html
  5. I have to be honest. The surface texture of a real Cherry Bomb style muffler is smooth, while the 3D printed parts are not even close to smooth, which sticks out like a sore thumb. Not sure if that is a resolution limitation or what, but, while the shape looks good to me, the texture is unacceptable. It simply doesn't look like a 1/25 scale version if the real thing because of the texture. I'm not sure how people are looking past that and ignoring it, but maybe they've never seen nor held a real Cherry Bomb style muffler in their hand, and felt it has a smooth, painted steel case? Yes, the above image shows a slight orange peel texture, which, in 1/25 would imperceptible for 99% of us. The Borla mufflers suffer from the same issue, and appear a bit lumpy in areas, and the printed texture/layers are clearly visible, which makes them look a bit like a carbon fiber texture, which, they shouldn't. Very thin areas, such as the lips/rims of the wheel back seem to be something which is a bit beyond the limits of the equipment you are using, too. The lip is inconsistent, and the small notches or voids catch your eye instantly. I don't see how what is pictured would be acceptable to use as is. Sorry if my criticism sounds harsh, Jesse, but based upon what I see, I feel others who have commented are not giving a fair and honest critique of the finished product, but maybe it's good enough for them? Hopefully my concerns and honest critique resonate with you, and you are able to get finished parts more true to their 1:1 counterparts.

  7. I'm search of the following vintage (no re-issued kit sheets, please) instruction sheets. They should be in very good or better condition. If you have any to part with, please PM me with your wants. 9. Need a small bubble top? Head to JO-ANN's and grab a pair of these googly eyes:
  10. A fender/running board piece from...? I think I've ruled out the Revell T-bone Stake and it's relatives, as well as the MPC Big Rig Rod. Front fender is tweaked inward a bit:
  11. There's a lot if luck involved, honestly. You only judge the selection based upon the one hour per week you spend inside the store, so who's to say what came and went the rest of the time? Here's another, better shot of the paperweight, as well as a few other things which caught my eyes: This was a timely find😁:
  12. It's actually a paperweight from Keeler M-B, in Grand Rapids(?), MI.
  13. This front bumper looks '70 Barracuda-ish, but the two mounting tabs look unfamiliar. Molded in red plastic, so maybe MPC? Also, this bumper, which is definitely smaller than the 1/24 Monogram Squarebody Chevy C/K series bumper on the top, but looks very similar, but much shorter in height:
  14. Thanks. Looks like the Buick Special Wagon dash is a match: '63 Galaxie, too:
  15. I have a few dashboards I could use help identifying. Top black dash is MPC '67-'72 Chevy I believe, likely from the "Heavy Pedal" issue? Second is '70 Cougar? Pretty sure that tiny script on the glovebox says Cougar, not Mustang. White dash, no clue...late '50s GM? Bottom dash, in flat black, does have a script, too, but too unclear to make out.
  16. @Luc Janssens mentioned Dean Milano stated there were optional, second version built into the 1/24 Monogram '69 Dodge 440 Six Pack kit, so maybe the same held true for the Satellite?: Maybe not, if the extra space was used for the '71 GTX-specific parts.

Did a bit of sleuthing last night and these do appear to be the correct wheels, so, just need to find one more deep rear wheel:
  18. I was thinking one of the early B-Ms was molded in green, before Revell started molded in (mostly) white for everything. I'm hoping the simulated hood vents are separate pieces in this kit, unlike the MPC '69 SS hood. Should make painting much easier if so.
  19. There were some resin cast pedal cars produced in the late '80s/early '90s, too, so those might be worth seeking out.
  20. I suspect the opposite-- very few part have fallen off an are loose, save for the rear seat (glued to a textured surface), grille guard (glue to chrome, probably fell off in 1991), and the top, which may never have been glued on. Usually painted is preferable, as most don't take the time to expose brae plastic for a glue, melty glue bond. Bare plastic-to -bare plastic usually results in a good bond, but you might be better off leaving multiple things assembled if the parts were fit together accurately and neatly. Won't know until you get it in hand, though. 1000% this. A bit of Simple Green or Dawn dish soap, followed an hour later by a light scrub, then see where it's at. Those decals should crumble a few seconds after getting wet. I believe the bumpers with the rub strips are unique to this kit, too. I was going to crack a joke about the sunroof installation, but it's far better than if the builder had attempted to cut a hole in the roof using a single edge razor blade, then proceeded to scar up the surrounding area. Not that I know of a ten year old who might've done that back in the day, I'm just saying...🤦‍♀️
  21. The Skip's Fiesta Drive In issue was molded in red.
  22. Looks like all issues of the '69 B-M kit were molded in white, not green, so no green...yet. The only 1/25 scale orange version I'm aware of is this one:
  23. They were included with the 1/43 AMT Mini Trophy (custom '68) Camaro kit, too: Maybe not such a daydream anymore, with the recent '66 Mustang Fastback announcement. Gold line tires were just released, too. 🤔
