  1. Kinda...well, I replaced the molded closed cowl vent slots with a p/e grille section, but the Photobucket images are long gone, so maybe not much help: I still have it however, so I could dig it out if necessary. Just lots of fitting, measuring, and careful planning involved.
  2. Which, is fine. Having the option to purchase either or both an original or re-creation is a luxury we should appreciate while it exists. That capital injection Round2 received a few years ago is paying serious dividends for the automotive modeler, so enjoy it.
  3. Can you post some pics of them, please?
  4. Very, especially in that condition. List them on eBay and let the market dictate their value.
  5. Have the tires' sidewalls been smoothed over? IIRC, the existing sidewall characters were countersunk into the sidewalls.
  6. What was their response after you contacted them and asked?
  7. Seems to be a very fitting subject for JOHAN Models to take on-- an obscure, mostly forgotten vehicle from long ago, cobbled together from refurbished parts which were already outdated. At least people will finally have a use for that AMT '41 Plymouth Coupe they have in their stash. ?
  8. Use "Joe's Garage"
  9. This reissue must have sold well...again. That included chopper, tho. ? ?
  10. It's good to have options. AMT 1384: Good thing they ditched the overly square Goodyear ZR Gatorback tires.
  11. Just swap out the drop spindles and lift blocks, and boom, back to stock height. ? I'm sure someone here would be willing to trade the stock suspension pieces for the lowered pieces. ?‍♀️ Original/proposed box artwork:
  12. Not in 1/24 from Monogram. Minicraft has the 1/16 '31 Sedan, but maybe ICM will eventually release a Model A sedan after their Phaeton?:
  13. Thanks for the reminder. ? I also have an original issue Chevy Titan 90 which has the same bus mirrors...unless someone before me exchanged the chrome parts. Not sure, I received it without being sealed inside. I think the instruction sheet drawing makes them appear more graceful and well defined than they are in real life, but, they are close.
  14. Is this a match for those wheels? I don't think any other kits (or kit series) used these?:
  15. I'm a bit surprised nobody has done this, for the 1/16 MPC '79, too. Yes, there are interior and other differences, but a new nose, headlight buckets, grilles, rear bumper, tail light lenses, and trim and you'd probably satisfy the vast majority of customers. Good to see this one return after a long absence. ?
  16. Just noticed these images from March 10, 2023 on the Round2 facebook page:
  17. Looks like that is going to happen in 2023.
  18. More info/history of this kit: Did a double take when I saw it was last re-issued in 2012. ??
  19. Same here. Makes this news of Roger's passing even sadder. ?
  20. I think a low-line grille with separate sealed beam headlight lenses would be a fairly good seller once the new AMT OBS Chevy kits arrive.
  21. I believe Mill City Replicas is still active, but the rest are defunct. ?
