  1. Was watching this circa-1969 Monogram Badman kit to see where it ended up...Not rare, but definitely one of the more desirable kits: https://www.ebay.com/itm/325032816799
  2. Yes, the plastic underneath is black, from the first Swamp Monster issue. The plastic in the later release you have is very pink, I can confirm. ??
  3. I have a few more parts which I could use some help identifying. 1) 1968 valance panel, painted light blue, from...?: Two spoke type wheels: Three (two on left are same) consoles...two on left might be from USS Enterprise? ??? Valance panel on bottom appears to be early second gen Camaro, maybe?: Dashboard: Fire boots from AMT fire show rod?:
  4. Please, not again. Not here. Totally different kit(s) and topic. Steve mentioned elsewhere the forthcoming modified reissue will have clear headlight lenses. While it's appreciated Steve shared images of an early mock up, it is not a test shot of the soon-to-be-final product.
  5. Modelhaus version on ebay for a reasonable price: https://www.ebay.com/itm/284668182595?hash=item42478bc043:g:~5UAAOSwcH9iFYIE
  6. Thanks, Don. It appears I've happened upon a treasure trove of oddball IMC tires.?
  7. Also note the stylized "CE" mark, which is for products traded in the EU...more here: https://ec.europa.eu/growth/single-market/ce-marking_en Basically, different standards than the U.S., so different packaging.
  8. Looks like a yes on whitewalls:
  9. Also, good box art. ?
  10. Alternatively, click on your screen name, then "See their activity" after the new page loads. See the white box on the right side in this screen shot: After you click on "See their activity", this page will load, and you can click in "Topics" (in the left hand column) to see all original topics you created here on the forum:
  11. The edges which are visible can always be thinned, and I would agree, thicker is better than too thin. I was going to ask if the window bucks were beveled on three sides, thus not allowing them to pass through the window openings, but your pics provided a clear answer, thanks. Love what Robert is doing, and the effort he has put into all of those overlooked subjects.
  12. No, this (the Street Rat version, to be accurate) is the only kit they have ever appeared in. Unfortunately, my guess is they are long gone, never to appear again. Been going strong for a decade now. One of my all-time favorite kit wheels. ? Not super rare nor obscure, as Monogram made plenty of these kits. Finding a mint, undamaged set still attached to the runners is something I would love to find, but likely never will. Good, useable wheels are still out there, though. The most recent image of the two versions built up was an ominous sign for the 5-slots, and now I am convinced we've seen the last of them:
  13. Ah, early '80s AMT/Ertl boxes. Talk about a shoestring budget...
  14. Doesn't look like the '57 Fairlane was part of he Elegance Series (which needs its own topic IMHO), so maybe the pictured window pieces were from the '57 Chevy Bel Air.
  15. Ah, Elegance, I think? Where's Mark? ?
  16. Were blue tinted windows included in the original Flashback issue? I thought that was exclusive to the flat box(do those have a proper name? Lemon Peeler '57 Chevy, etc.) AMT series kits.
  17. Choice of two different hood scoops Detailed 427 c.i. “Rat Motor” Flip front end & mag wheels Choice of stock and racing bucket seats Drag accessory package includes roll bar, fire extinguisher, ladder bar suspension, front straight axle suspension, racing headers with side pipes
  18. New SS™ hood with chrome simulated louver inserts Newly tooled “SS” grille emblem Fully detailed 396 c.i. engine Dog dish hub caps on steel wheels Optional parts included to build as SS™/RS™
  19. For $125 you get a nicely done body shell, both bumpers, front and rear window bucks, and two grille inserts which probably won't even be useable. Definitely something very few will ever see through to completion, which Robert more or less stated in his Futurliner comment, but if I wanted a '77 Olds Cutlass I'd buy one. There's simply no other game in town, so to speak, and therein lies the appeal IMHO. How thick is the body, compared to say, a Revell '70 Olds Cutlass or similar?
  20. Maybe a fellow member has a set of the earlier tail lights and separate bezels they'd part with?:
  21. Newer aluminum boxes have a lip which can be placed against the edge of the table, to prevent the box from moving when cutting on the push stroke, too.
  22. Thanks, I couldn't remember where you mentioned that recently. ?‍♀️ Thanks. Is it correct that this one pictured is wider than those found in the re-issued MPC '76 Dart Sport?
