  1. They are actively selling on eBay again, so I would try contacting them through eBay. They have a new website address, too, and the e-mail address listed in the "Contacts" section is: swsecsvcs@peoplepc.com New 'site url: http://arrowheadaluminum.homestead.com/
  2. Lemme guess, Pacta Silver for the trim? And it's still tacky?
  3. I think Dave Ambrose can best answer that question as he knows the ins and outs of the forum's software better than anyone else here. I have to ask, though- if the Full Editor option gives you exactly what you want, and it already exists here on the forum, why not use that when you're composing something important and you want to have the security of the AutoSave feature backing it up? The simple reply box, which I've often seen on other forums as a "quick reply" box is just that, meant for quick replies, not long compositions which take a few minutes to compose.
  4. I don't see anywhere on the forum where you can e-mail another member directly, so maybe I'm missing it. You can send a Personal Message (PM), but as far as I know member's e-mail addresses are not publicly displayed as a default setting. How are you sending e-mails to members through the forum?
  5. The pressure's on to get something finished, and by finished I mean finished enough to not look like a pile of parts.
  6. Just FYI, the joints on both sides of the dutchman/tulip panel (between the rear window opening and trunk) are not the same, nor not as deep as a door of fender gap. These joints are very shallow, and will only catch a very minimal shadow.
  7. Try sending David a PM directly. He may never see this post: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showuser=852
  8. Someone recently replied to that 2007 topic, bumping it...though it seems that kit is still easily found.

  10. If you wish to debate the realism of an edited photo when it was never presented as such, not to trick or fool anyone, take up via PM. This topic is about Model King and the model kits they've released.
  11. Very cool, Dave. Love those seats, too.
  12. Great idea and execution, Bob.
  13. Is the helicopter supposed to be a scale R/C helicopter or...? I guess with this kit anything is possible, and probable.
  14. Maybe mine was just a dud, but they were perhaps the worst 1/25 scale 14" Cragar S/S wheels I've ever laid eyes upon. The center bore in three of mine were off center, one so bad as to make the wall thickness near nil...and I bought the kit specifically for the wheels. In all honestly, this kit is pretty bad IMHO, and not worth any effort. I'm sure you could make something cool out of it, but if you're uninspired by it already, I'd move on from it.
  15. If you had business dealings with DENCON, paid via PayPal, and never received what you paid for, contact John via PM please, as he requested.
  16. This one, maybe?: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42649&hl=%2Bplymouth+%2Bvaliant
  17. Considering that Round2 did that with the Hippie Hemi dragster, Double Dragster, and maybe another kit, I would say it's very likely. I'd suggest you e-mail Round2 and let them know that's what you'd like to see.
  18. This looks like it: http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/?page_id=3&category=2&product_id=424
  19. Weird. This Cybermodeler review-- http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/amt/kit_amt_1548.shtml -- shows the optional wheels chrome plated: I am 99.99% sure the stock Rally wheels were chrome plated on the orignal Lesney era, molded-in-orange, stock only kit, but maybe they were replaced by the optional wheels at some point.
  20. The "Big Al" name is also a subtle nod to, well, Big Al:
  21. That's as good as it gets in 1/24 scale.
  22. I think the spacing of the "bars" was wrong, but it's long since been corrected. Thanks for posting those pics, Brett.
