I think they've been doing it for four or five years now? Teracruzer, Atomic Cannon, and the Wrecker Crane are three which were recently reissued, but as Brett said, Revell has reissued many Renwal kits over the years. The 1/12 '65 Mustang GT, which Revell reissued under the Road & Track magazine box art in the '80s may have been the most automotive related subject besides the Visible V-8.

Does the autosave feature work when you're typing a reply into the reply box? I see "last autosaved at 13:43" or similar, so just curious if that appears when you type a longer, more time consuming reply. -
Brett/Scott, is this the most recent schedule?:

New releases effect on originals

I agree, and there is some overlap between collectors and builders, too. I'd pay $10-$15 for an older or original version if I liked the box art, even though I intend to build what's inside. Sometimes they are molded a bit more crisply, too, which, for me, adds value and means I'll pay more. Nice, unbuilt, hard-to-find original kits will always command top dollar IMHO, regardless of who buys them and whether or not they were reissued, but value is a highly personal thing, so it up to each buyer and seller to determine a fair price. -
3D printing growing as we speak
Casey replied to bbowser's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) you are still looking for a scanning source, not for more printing sources. I've seen very little discussion here about 3D scanning, so let us know what you find out, please. -

I will PM Dave Ambrose and ask him if he can find anything off about the forum. I did notice that when hitting the return key and separating paragraphs that the space between those paragraphs sometimes doesn't show up after I hit the "Post" button, then I have to edit it back in, and it sticks. -

What if you grab a .jpg image off the web and try to use the image icon method- does that work or no? -

Using the image icon or cut 'n' paste? I don't even see the "Share" tab above the images in your fotki album-- is that a new change? In all forum sections or just one? -
This is why. It's time consuming, risky, and expensive: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65439&p=806951 How many people want to put all their money up front, do the design work and ensure that design work is 100% accurate ("I dunno, the C in Barracuda looks a little off to me"), then have them produced to your quality standards, then market, advertise and sell them, hoping you sell every single one quickly and get your money back?

I see. I don't know of any members here who had anything 3D scanned. -

Are you looking for someone to design the parts for you or a company/service who can do the actual printing? -

No, that link is just takes me to a general Image Shack page, and not directly to your album. Images worked fine, though. Nice truck. Phillip, try using the "IMG" link instead, and pasting the link in the body of your message. -
That car looked dated the minute it hit dealer lots. Very conservative styling: Lexus has created an entire division company based on Toyota underpinnings, so the formula can work, but it's not as easy as it looks. The Lincoln Blackwood and Navigator didn't seem to help Lincoln's image much, either, though I can understand why Ford chased SUVs sales when that market segment was hot (and supposedly growing again...ugh.).

Works for me from Derrick's PB album. I think fotki images are still in transit to Estonia...Nice coupe.
