  1. Dave's question has been answered.
  2. I split your post, Steve, so it could stand alone. Do you mean you moved the trans mount to the B/E body location on the 383's 727 auto trans, correct? Or just modified to drop into the new Revell '70 'Cuda chassis?
  3. The Torq Thrust wheels in the 1/24 Monogram '55 Ford pickups and '69 Street Camaro kit are gorgeous, but do not have curved spokes the like the TTIIs do. The closest to scale 17" wheels are found in the '94 Impala SS/Alternomad kits, and adding a slightly deeper wheel lip on the rears will provide the "deeper dish" as seen on the rear wheels of the reference pics. There are very few kit wheels which are close to TTIIs, and the Revell '34 Ford SnapTite's wheels are too small to pass for 17s.
  4. They were unpinned. They were pinned for over a year, and people still started new posts to ask about dehydrators, paint strippers, what to use to remove chrome plating, etc., even though the pinned topics were in the exact same categories as the newly posted redundant topics.
  5. Definitely go with these if you want Torq Thrust IIs. Revell just reissued the Alternomad kit, which is the sister kit to the '94 Impala SS kit:
  6. Yes, the 1/25 Revell '53/'54 Chevy Sedan and Panel Delivery kits share almost everything.
  7. Did IE recently update on your computer? That seems to be the issue with most people who are using IE, and specifically IE11. The Compatibility View button seems to have solved the posting problems for most people. See page #3 in this topic, please.
  8. I was wondering why they chose such a low photo angle...
  9. That must be the concentrated version, as I bought the Dollar Store spray bottle quart size bottle and it did absolutely nothing on chrome plating and paint. It wasn't even a very good cleaner, either.
  10. Which section (such as Model Cars: Under Glass, etc.) are you having trouble posting images in, Oscar? Or is it more than one section?
  11. I unlocked it, so hopefully we won't need to ensure it stays on topic. I was just told the instruction sheet shows the car with Pony wheels and after looking at the instruction sheet, sure enough, it does: The upper half was housed from the top page of the instruction sheet, and pasted above the image on the bottom half of the last page, but does the kit really include four #15 decals, as pictured? Maybe this was mentioned before and I missed it.

  13. If they don't first correct the leading edge of the roof over the windshield, why bother fixing anything on this kit/tooling?
  14. This is the decal sheet Round2 shows on their 'site for the kit:
  15. How much room do you have for multiple color butt stripes? A Western Sport Special decals or two in and of itself probably would sell very few sheets, but they are quite small and might be a good space filler:
  16. It sounds like you have used up (or come very close to the limit) the allotted amount of uploaded image storage, which for each member is 48.83MB. Move your cursor over and then click the down arrow to the right of your screen name in the header bar, then click on "My Settings", then "Manage Attachments." You can then see how many attachments you've uploaded, and how much space they are using up.
  17. Jevries is the only person I've seen casting good quality Monte LS noses/grilles: http://jevriesblog.com/index/monte-carlo-ls-conversion-kit-new-batch-of-10-
  18. Thanks for the pics, Eric. It looks like the dropped front and rear suspension pieces from the '49 Mercury Custom can be straight swapped to drop the Woodie. I found underside pics of a real '49 wagon onlinne earlier this year, and that was the conclusion I came to, also.
  19. Are the suspension heights different? Is there less/no channelling of the body over the frame on the Woodie?
  20. Is the framing "wood" smooth or woodgrain textured on the model?
  21. Welcome aboard, Tim.
  22. It will be: Bonus figure can be built standing holding trophy or in driving position
  23. You definitely have to mock up or dry fit the cab parts, bed, and chassis before installing the cladding permanently. Fortunately, Monogram designed he kit so the bed and cab will align even if it's just those two assemblies being fit together. Looking at the tonneau cover, it looks like Jim's kit had some warpage issues not related to fitting the cladding, though.
  24. G scale is 1:22.5, which is the closest common scale to 1:25.
