  1. MCW cast a 64 sedan at one time, don't know if it is in their lineup right now. It uses the Lindberg kit as a donor. He also had the single headlight grill. Call him if it's not available at this time and see when he might make new molds.
  2. Wishing you well on your upcoming surgery. I had standard replacement about 3 years ago and it went extremely well.
  3. I have quit using Rustoleum paint for that reason. Last incident, I primed and used a grey paint for a circle track chassis and roll cage. Still tacky weeks later, so back in the box it went and used the paint cans for targets.
  4. To me the words rare and obsolete mean nothing in the resin business. Any good caster could take a "rare" piece and re-pop it and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
  5. Really enjoyed looking at your recent projects. I mainly build circle track stuff, but after seeing all the nice Moebius AWB cars on the forum lately, think I need to get one or two.
  6. Likewise. He is a good historian of the sport. Nice builds there. What do you use for tire lettering?
  7. Awesome color
  8. I think your "attempt" turned out quite well.
  9. Why was he disqualified, is that a nitrous bottle there on the passenger side.
  10. That's kind of strange, I have used Mr Surfacer (grey) under Tamiya spray before. I did notice your primer is a different variation than the one I use. Don't know if that's the problem, maybe someone else can shed some light on that. Could your primer be old?
  11. Nice clean build. Funny how some time goes by and you forget about certain cars. I guess it's called getting older.
  12. Did you clear coat the color shift paint?
  13. The few liquid masks I have seen cautioned against using lacquer paint.
  14. I'm just old school, rarely use CA glue for anything model related. Just doesn't give me enough time. Plus it can "frost" parts. As mentioned above, I use canopy glue. Tape the glass part in with masking tape and glue the untaped areas. After removing the tape, run some more canopy glue if needed.
  15. Mark is correct, I have several of those kits
