  1. It's good to hear the Supervan/Love Machine is being discussed, as it would be welcomed back, as would the IMC Bugs Buggy, that only had one release in 69.( molds gone?) and still hoping for a Barris Bed Buggy, that R2 almost released 5 or 6 years ago, as that has become unaffordabletainom
  2. scalemates says that DOYUSHA had the molds as of 1985, with one previous release in the late 70s. their online shop shows a category for show cars, so maybe they still have them in storage. if you want them to release them again, here's a link to their contact form. Doyusha Contact Form
  3. I would buy a Koo-Kar Kar, would also Like for them to release The Barris Bed Buggy ,as was shown a few years ago. And since we are on the subject of show cars, would like to see these come back, providing the molds have survived the decades, as I'm sure would most of you guys.
  4. I would just like to hear from Atlantis, If they have these or not. If they are missing ,presumed scrapped, (unobtanium ) would just like to know once and for all. If they do have them, think about repairing and issuing the Mercer, to see if there is any demand. Do it as a kickstarter, if you have too. I thought we would never see the Man from U.N.C.L.E. car, or the Pyro Serpent again, but they showed up,so you never know. http://www.madle.org/evival.htm
  5. If he could get his website back up, I would orders some kits.
  6. I think all the Pyro molds are at Round 2, based on the Lindberg reissues in the past, and the Serpent issue of a few years ago. the reason behind the large amount of 1/32 kits in the sixties was the that was the scale of most of the public slot car tracks that were huge during the that time, and lexan bodys were not conceived until the end of that decade. So all the slot cars were styrene.
  7. not aware of any Lindberg reissue of Aurora kits, were you thinking of Lindberg's/ Pyro's 1/32 issue's ?
  8. If not the Renwall Revivals, there is another long lost forgotten series from Aurora that has not seen the light of day since 1970 . Could it be? come to think of it ,there's a whole bunch of MIA 1/32 from Aurora.

  10. this is the site of one of the guys that invented the superfly car trend. http://www.madle.org/edunham.htm get the eye bleach out.
  11. SuPerfly?🤣 Really? U guys are kidding ,right? Early 70s ghetto coke/smack dealer/pimp film with a great soundtrack by Curtis Mayfield. would probably sell 5 kits. back on page 1 of this thread Phirewriter posted the 68 Mach One Showcar, that has only been issued twice. I'm hoping this is the Mystery car , as that would probably sell the most kits for R2. but I'll buy anything (almost) that has not been issued for 40 years.
  12. Here's a few that have had only one release, and are now high dollar collector kits, hmm, their all MPC (maybe lost tooling?) . Bed Buggy was announced in 2017 ,still waiting on that one. But it's probably a Funny Car , those are really popular lately. I dig Show Cars cause I worked for a ISCA agent ( 69-72) as a teenager , moving cars on & off show trailers , and airbrushing t-shirts .
  13. Yeah, I noticed that , it's also a 69 Coronet. Maybe the network got the IMF a new car for season two or three. Dodge product placement ya know.
  14. Well so much for my 007 James Bond Aston Martin theory. Still Black Beauty is welcome news, just wish the 64 Imperial Hardtop tooling was still around to base it on. Not surprised it was scraped after that kit was on the shelves unsold (marked down to $1.00 or less in most stores that had models ) until the late seventies . It was a great kit with lots of custom styline parts. As for Round 2's James Bond license, if you pay for that, and also the Aston Marin license (used for JL thus far) it only made sense the they would spend their tooling cash on a sure thing, at least that's how I figured it. Oh well, maybe someday.
  15. Bravo , is it too soon for the next "me too" constantly repeated kit request ? , I may not Have 17 years left to wait for a missing link Demon & like the Coronet, there is already a Duster chassis kit to use....
  16. this copy was on e bay last year, looks pretty kool in candy apple red.
  17. "My sense is that Round 2 is very well aware of the modeling communities' interest in doing a new tool clone of the original MPC '68 Coronet R/T. Whether that will eventually translate into a new kit or not, I do not know. " I'm in! That would be great, as I bought real one for $1000 in '85, restored it over time for 15years , then sold it for 14k 20 years ago. now the kits are going for what I payed for a real one back in 80s__
  18. Clues: Famous Movie car, All New Tool, R2 has JB007 license , what else could it be? giphy360p.mp4
  19. I wish Round 2 had a AMC Hornet tool, with the 77 AMX parts ,I would have to buy a few ,but all I know Is they used have AMC Gremlins ,Pacers , 1 Mandator, AMXs from several years ( 68-74 that I wish they would reissue) but Jo Han seemed to have most of the AMC license . They do however have a Sunbeam Tiger tool that could be used as the car from Dr. No. (and please Include the Get Smart parts this time) _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ after digging around, it's seems AMT did a Hornet after all, if it's the same tooling as the Johan Hornet, it may be lost forever.
