One Mickey Thompson and one Malcolm Durham both are using Johan chassis the Camaro has a highly modified AMT body. The Pinto is sporting a tamyia candy apple red paint job while the Camaro is wearing some old Testors pearl blue enamel both are rattle can. Both will be topped off with slixx decals.

You did a really nice job on it . I agree with you it’s a nice building kit my only gripe with it is that the hood never really fits right

Very well done that L A dart looks like it’s going to wheelie right off the table
-
Now that’s a great project. The Dart gasser is very fine

Burch Leal's 71 Duster & Billy the Kid Pro Stock Demon

I’m right with you on the Dart parts I sacrifice a dart kit for a parts donor on all of my early mopar pro stock builds 70-72 as I use the rear with the leaf springs , the Hemi plus the slicks and front tires , also the main roll bar hoop. If you have them the old johan Sox& Martin cuda is the best mopar pro stock parts donor of all time -

They both look really good I’m with you on the decals it took me 2 sets on the leak car as they didn’t include the hood stripe . With the slixx I recommend keeping the water really hot I boil mine in a electric tea pot also I like to use a few drops of dawn dish soap -
Yea I’m with you on the Testors. For years we didn’t know how good we had it when we could go to are local hobby shop or hobby lobby and get all of the factory muscle car colors . Now we’re not left with a lot of choices as the testors company was run down the tubes. I do like the tamyia line of paints but I have to travel further or send away to get them . Oh well.

It really looks nice great job on the color match

I rescued this kit off of eBay it was partially disassembled, and other than a few odds and ends it was all there . The body was painted and decaled however the paint finish was rather dull, and the yellow stripe across the deck lid was gone, but I was able to touch it up with some yellow paint brushed on then sprayed the body with testors wet look clear . I can remember having this kit when I was about 8 or 9 years old I think I traded a friend some hot wheels for it. I can remember the kit decals flaking off of it . Unfortunately that one didn’t survive. It would be great if Steve G and the folks at round 2 would reissue this fine kit so everyone could get a chance to build one. Until next time thanks for looking, Mike

I love it every thing about it. Great work on the paint & decals

I built this from the original johan kit . However it was missing the super charger , front axle, and the complete rear end assembly. I was able to raid my parts hoard for the necessary pieces.most of the front axle assembly was scratch built with aluminum tubing and paper clips. It sure feels good to take a rare old kit and build it.It’s sprayed pearl blue with chuck Boener decals. The decals are a little intimidating you just have to take your time with them. Until next time. Thanks for looking. Mike

You might want to spray clear candy red over plain red

Fantastic build of a local nor east car those decals are amazing I can’t wait to see it finished
-
That’s a fine looking early corvette gasser. Great job on the headers
-
I acquired the body already painted and decaled as it came with some pro stock pinto parts that I wanted for a Bob Gliden build. It was missing the chassis which I luckily had one in my spare parts hoard. I don’t often do phantom builds but here it is all done. I still need to find a right side head light for it but I’m calling it done. Until next time thanks for looking. Mike

I think it looks great I really like your krazy Kat decals and the fuel tanks came out really nice.

Nice looking super stocker . Good luck with locating the decals I haven’t been able to locate many aftermarket decals for this kit . I’d really like to have some Banning Dodge decals though.

That’s a really nice job the fade paint looks amazing and it looks like the decals were made for that body -
Tried to move this to work in progress but couldn’t figure out how

All painted and ready to go. I still have to make a custom hood scoop for the Butch Leal car . Unfortunately I won’t have the time to finish any of these until late November at best.

Great job on the finest fuel altered kit ever

This is one great kit and you did a fantastic job. The wheel base alternations are spot on. The silver landy cars are my favorites
