  1. Thanks for the eraser tip I’ll have try that. Looking really good so far
  2. Sweet nice color choices and nice job getting that body to fit that chassis
  3. Thanks i really just try to capture the look and try not to get caught up in all the little details as I have so much to build I’ll have to live to be 126 years old
  4. Those are some fantastic builds that MPC Cougars are really good kits especially for their time. You did a great job on detailing them out . I think Dyno’s cougar was the best looking funny car ever. Thanks for joining in the fun. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your builds
  5. The cammer is a really tight fit in there
  6. I got some of the Torinos decaled
  7. I do my headers a little differently. I like to glue the solder into the heads first and then bend them around the chassis once the engine is glued in . No matter how you do it they always come out great
  8. Pro stock cammer ready for some header fabrication
  9. They both look fantastic nice work. What color blue is on the missile ?
  10. Thanks John , I have the opposite problem here I’m a painting maniac all winter when the humidity’s low . I have a small heated air compressor shed so it’s like a model car spray booth
  11. This is my hands down favorite Bob Glidden car . We were a mostly ford family in 1987 I had just got my first car a 64 Galaxie my dad drove a 56 f-100 and my mom had a 78 T-Bird. We kept motorcraft F-1A oil filters in stock. Always a Glidden fan
  12. I always liked silver and black landy cars between 63 & 66 . Definitely the best looking , and lettering in my opinion . I built these two with a mix of two of the really nice lindburg kit with a rescued Johan wheels , hard top body , and headers . I still need to go back and finish up sedan chassis and the hardtop’s headers. For now I’m calling them done. Paint color: Testors diamond dust lacquer on the sedan testors diamond dust silver with a old testors can of light silver automotive color on the hardtop’s roof and hood scoop . It's hard to see the color contrast in the photos Decals : slixx the a f/x car : parts box leaf springs, aluminum tubing axle until next time thanks for looking, Mike
  13. Yup I have a hoard of daisy mags from the AMT 63 impala
  14. Your build looks great, really clean. I’ve had mine in the box on the shelf for like 16 years now, and have been reluctant to start it because of all the inaccuracies, and most of all the wrong decals. I really wish on of the decal makers would produce a nice set. Again thanks for the inspiration. A really nice piece.
  15. I mocked up the interior and chassis plate of the yellow box 71 kit with the Mach one body . It can definitely be made to work. I wanted a little more accuracy so I ended up using the revell 69 boss 302 for a donor. I’m going to say the yellow 71 is worth getting at hobby lobby’s 40% off sale week just for the parts hoard alone
  16. Great looking build there . I find these challengers really fun to build. I made one of these a while back and had trouble with some of the white decals flaking off .
  17. Windshield and back glass insulation I’ll let this set over night then make and install the side windows. The revell glass fits the AMT body like a glove
  18. A awesome build the first time around and then you made it even more awesome.
  19. Finished the paint job on the Terry mustang yesterday. I’m very pleased on how it turned out. All ready for window chrome and windows
  20. Thanks I always try to use styrene over resin.
  21. All assembly is done and the decals are next
  22. I really like that blue paint and fully agree with you on the clumsy header assembly. Mine is still on the shelf without the headers
  23. It will be pretty cool to kit bash this with the gasser option from the AMT 55 nomad . Then there’s the idea of using the 55’s pickup option on the 57 with the gasser parts . There’s a lot of great possibilities here, and I can’t hardly wait
