Revell's Chi Town Hustler Charger F/C builds from the 90s 1/25 scale
M W Elky replied to Dang 10's topic in Drag Racing
That’s a couple of nice looking hustlers you have there -
I have no clear favorite here both are totally awesome
-
Looks great ? I can’t wait to see the 58 impala
-
I always thought that the johan bodies were the most accurate proportioned. The lindburg chassis fits the johan bodies pretty good with a little trimming, and gives much better detail
-
They both look great the blue max is my favorite

No colt yet. I’m working on the 1978 dodge challenger starting with a 3-d printed body from a e-bay seller. This is my first attempt at a 3-d so far I’m finding the plastic on the hard and brittle side. After cutting off the mirrors I won’t be opening up the hood. The second project is the 1979 Omni starting out with a monogram charger snap kit

Jeff I have also found that the Vega parts fit very nicely under other short wheel base bodies. I have two Sox & Martian projects started using the Vega as a donor kit
-
A great looking pro stocker the wheels look great with just the right weathering, and that parachute chord really makes it. The stance is just right .Who’s decal’s did you use ?
-
The amt Vicky is one of my all time favorites. I really like your choice of color. You have some great looking gassers
-
I really like the yellow jacket theme you did a great job

Looks great nice clean work

The blue and red monzas are box stock revell with testors blue and red candy over silver bases. The orange monza is a Tom Hoover die cast that was stripped and repainted with house of color candy tangerine. Topped with slixx decals and a few coats of clear As always thanks for looking ? , Mike

T.R.O.G. beach racer digger rail 'The Sand Flee'
M W Elky replied to Rocking Rodney Rat's topic in Drag Racing
Wow that’s really neat and the weathering work is spot on . Thanks for sharing, cool idea , and a great way to use up some spare parts -
Nice looking show boat I’d like to build the wagon master out of one sometime. Thanks for sharing this fine build these early revell kits are tough to build.
-
Those are some nice looking rail jobs. I really like the addition of the wheel pants on the wedge dragster
-
Scott these all look amazing, but the olds is my favorite that rear body line over the wheel wells looks like it would be tough to keep right, and those headers look really bitchen. What color did you use on the Kelly Chadwick sedan?
-
Jeff those are some good looking Chevy 2’s. One would think that a decal maker would come out with a really good Dick Harrell sheet , a Steve Bovan , and a Texas bandit just to name a few

M W Elky replied to M W Elky's topic in Drag Racing
They have all the tooling done and I think it’s going to be released sometime in this coming year. Fingers crossed ? -
A double cover build for this special time of year. The hemi honker is built out of the box. With smp decals. As for the strickler z-11 it started out with the amt 63 impala mixed with the 62 super stock belair, using Fred cady decals. As always thanks for looking ? feel free to ask questions. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all. Mike

THE 1964 SUPER STOCK DODGE’S OF “THE RAMCHARGERS”
M W Elky replied to M W Elky's topic in Drag Racing
Trevor go on eBay and look up the seller Teresawulf they have ramchargers 64 dodge decals with the candy stick marking’s. You may still need the Hodges dodges decals from the lindburg ramchargers sheet. With some cutting and filing the lindburg / amt color me gone chassis and wedge engine will fit and give you much better detail. As the 64 hardtops were max wedges. You can also make the lindburg grill/bumper fit also Good luck building I hope I can be of some assistance with your project , Mike
