  1. Outstanding build, incredible detail, what Museum is this going too? Well done sir.
  2. Thanks Brian, just struggling with a color or color scheme
  3. I am having so much fun with this build, having no rules to follow. So much so I just found an old REO kit to build another Resto Rod truck. Keep us posted on your ideas for a build.
  4. Fuel tanks/brackets made, go to finish straps. Getting fenders located so I can add fender mounts to the frame.
  5. Suspension completed, had to build a short set of air bags for the lifted axle. Fitting a Cummins/Spicer into the chassis.
  6. I did not know a short hood GMC existed, what motor will you fit or was offered in the short hood
  7. Sharp truck, nice details
  8. Very well done, sharp looking build
  9. What a cool idea for a build, will be watching
  10. Got the correct length fuel tanks made, working on all the brackets/straps. Also started messing around with battery boxes. Not a lot of progress but some.
  11. Since you guys are on this discussion, I found this pic sometime ago. Didn’t realize the General came in other configurations. don’t want to steal your thread.
  12. Top notch work as usual. But I have a question: how the heck are you going to outdo this build on your next project? You have raised the bar awful high to top this one.
  13. Really nice build, looks the part
  14. I will check to see if I have any Maroon colors, I might try some test plaques
  15. I know what colors I don’t want, Red, turquoise, or white. Colors I set out so far; TS 51 Dark racing Blue and TS 11 Maroon. I may look thru my decals for something appropriate and that may choose the color for me. That’s what happen with my beer truck build, decals where red, white and black.
  16. I have used the super singles front tires many times and do a good job of filling up those fenders. I have not built with any rear super singles on a lift axle. We will see how this works out. Just did a mock-up to get a visual. Everything on this build is subject to change with no rules.
  17. Quick mock-up to get the lift air bag measurement and fuel tank length.
  18. After a day with my wife Christmas shopping, I really…….i mean really needed to get back to bench. All axles mounted, parts from everywhere. Had to add a bushing to the wheel inners then drill to match the rear axle diameters. Running floats on the front, wide singles on air lift and duals on the drive axles. I will able to tuck the wide singles into the rear fenders nicely as they will be affixed in the up position when completed.
  19. Well done, really nice looking build
  20. Nicely done, strips fir the color scheme very well, chassis weather is a nice touch.
  21. Really like where this is going
