  1. Wow, what a beautiful rig, very well done.
  2. One door latch made. Every time I cut a .8 Ming bolt of the card, it just vanished into thin air never to be found. But I got em.
  3. And they actually work, got the hinges wrapped up and glued on. Now to build the door latches.
  4. Looks the business for sure, good recovery
  5. Well done, the details make the difference from an average build to a top notch build.
  6. I really like the chrome tape effects, well done. Can you post a link or picture of that tape?
  7. The kit that you are using, did it come with two frames for tandem and single axle? If so the single axle (short frame) could be the donor for a frame section and should be the same height and width.
  8. Congrats on your first big rig build and you chose a challenging one. The cab seams are tuff to finish. Be watching.
  9. The decals really tell the story, well done
  10. This is really an outstanding build, will be watching you finish this one up
  11. Rear door hinges fabricated up, next layout position and glue. Need some minor finish work.
  12. Send me a picture of the tank you are looking for, might have brackets as well.
  13. Thanks guys for taking time to give me feedback. Going to build the hinge with the rib, I will use four hinges per door as the box is shorter than a semi trailer.
  14. Good color scheme, decals will make it pop.
  15. Can I get some feedback from you guys. The top hinge is the original I made (looks a bit bulky), the bottom hinge is .010 thinner but I added a center rib because I am afraid it will flex and break the glue joint. requires more finish work but you get the idea. Does it need to be longer, reach further out into the door. Appreciate any feedback.
  16. https://www.sourkrautsmodeltrucks.net/modeltrucks/p/nut-and-bo i knew I had seen brass bolts somewhere, Sourkraut has them.
  17. Like where that is going, good luck with print
  18. Speechless, you guys just keep raising the bar, museum quality for sure.
  19. I would interpret the arrow as going under. ??
  20. Thanks Randy, I seem to have a short coming, being unable to accept kits quality and trying to define improvements. I have to finish the rear door/hinges, then I can attach the rear plate to the box, finish the body work, then rivets. I have never done rivets a such a large scale, a first. So this could be awesome or another project that gets thrown into my box of bad ideas.
  21. All three decal kits look good, curious to what you decide.
  22. Chassis details look spot on, well done. I gotta get some more Meng bolts, running low. I did see somewhere , you can get brass bolts like the meng bolts.
